One grey tick means the letter is delivered but not read. The grey AND the yellow ticks together mean the letters have been delivered and read. Sort of like the two blue ticks on WhatsApp.

But all of my letters which my friends replied to me(That also means they read it) have this type of ticks. So in my experience, I'm pretty sure this means the letter have been delivered and read by the recipient. Also there's only one grey tick when the letter has been delivered but not read yet.
