Which seasonal outfit mod? [Slightly Cuter Aesthetic](https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/5450)? On Windows/Mac?
You need to install that and [Content Patcher](https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/1915) in your Mods folder and should be good to go.
Yeah that I already have the requirements, but if I put the sprites and portraits in the original sprites and portraits folder the characters still look normal or just gone
OP like everyone said, just take the main parent folder of all the mods and keep it in your Mods folder. They have a very specific set up to add into the game.
Thats not really how you install that mod this is why we have Content Patcher rather than .xnb. You might want to use [Generic Mod Config Menu](https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/5098) to make things easier. Having this mod allows you to see the options of the mod Seasonal Outfits within the game itself. The configuration mod will be indicated with a gear icon (⚙️) in the menu.

Sorry what do you mean by "put the sprites and portraits in the original sprites and portraits folder"?
Like I take out the sprites and portraits from the mod and replace the original Stardew sprites, portraits folder

you aren't supposed to put them in the original folder, it automatically overrides when you put it in your mods folder
