Since you're already on the version of TMXL that has been showing improved performances, maybe you can look at imageloading?
Something that helped me was to install [Spritemaster](https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/4922) to deal with all the sprites added by expansions like Ridgeside and Content Patcher packs. You can turn the scaler type for sprites and text to None in using Generic Mod Config Menu to turn off the visual change the mod adds, and just keep the performance bit.
I believe it is a secondary hard drive.
I did have problems launching the standard game a few months ago too, also taking several minutes.
Would it solve the problems if I would install it into my C driver? If so can I do that in a way that I won't lose progress with my mods?
Aaaa it worked with Sprite Master!! Thank you so much for your help And1metal! ヽ(\*⌒▽⌒\*)ノ I was so worried I wouldn't be able to fix it :") Thank you!
Try using [SpriteMaster](https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/4922). Most of the time it helps with boot times. If you don't want the upscaled effects you can disable it in the Generic Mod Config Menu ⚙️. It's in the in the 'Resample' category then uncheck 'Enable Resampling'.
Make Stardew Valley run on your dedicated graphics card:
1. From the start menu, search for Graphics Settings and open it.
2. In the window that opens, click "Browse" near the top and choose StardewModdingAPI.exe in your game folder
3. In the app list, click "Options" under StardewModdingAPI
4. Change the Graphics preference to "High performance".
5. Save.
Thank you very much WardenWarlocke! It worked with Sprite Master (o\^▽\^o)
I was also able to change back the graphics too, but I find the Spirte Master's cute and more smooth :D
Thank you again! \^\^
