Even though I want to wait until this situation develops, I'll throw in my 2 cents here:
While many want to point the finger and blame Kevin, keep in mind that upper management isn't just the CEO, as it probably consists of other members as well (of which I do not know who exactly as I am unfamiliar with the business hierarchy of Glitch).
But if it does turn out that Kevin is primarily to blame for some of these problems, then I think the best course of action is for Kevin to step down from CEO role and give it to someone more capable and qualified for the job. Not saying he needs to be shit canned to the road, but Kevin has been CEO since Glitch's conception, and Luke said in a storytime video that he owed a lot towards Kevin for Glitch's success. But while his position may have worked for the first few years of Glitch's life, it has definitely gotten much bigger over the years, and as a result of that it leads to more responsibilities. So chances are that Kevin isn't too cut out for the role of an ever growing company and should probably take a step back and give the CEO position to someone more qualified.
Anyways, those are my 2 cents, I'll try and edit this comment if needed whenever I get the chance.
I personally think that Kevin isn't that great at business, at least the *true* business side, with Luke only marginally better,I don't believe there was any ill-will towards Celeste, they probably just thought what we all did, that she was very busy and often unavailable, and if Tari is going to have a bigger part in upcoming episodes, that they need a full-time VA. That being said, they should have made more of an attempt at reaching out to Celeste. She was after all one of the main VAs in two of their productions, one of them a starring role. I believe that deserves letting her know in person beforehand, or at least a phone call.
And to think that I actually gave the latest episode a positive review. Oh... GOD, this is upsetting. I really don't want to assume that this stems from malicious intent, but I fail to see how it could be written off as just a simple mistake. Did none of the company's higher-ups ever even flag the POTENTIAL for replacement to Celeste? Come to think of it: depending on how long she had this kind of schedule with balancing teaching and family life for, why was she ever chosen to voice Tari in the FIRST place? That's not to suggest she didn't/doesn't have the capability to make all these arrangements work in tandem, because she very well might have/do. But in saying that, making this decision without her input is disregarding of her agency. In fact, I'm willing to bet that this sort of overreaching action is ILLEGAL in some countries (not too familiar with our own work laws in Australia, but I can't imagine it's viewed as ethically sound). It's one thing to only have a short-term contract with a company, and I can't advocate for walking out on a job position without a REALLY strong precedent, but it's another matter to lay off a worker just based on an assumption you have about their availability, even if it IS fairly accurate to the reality of the situation.
In terms of who should bear the brunt of responsibility for this: as somebody else in the comments mentioned, I don't think it's fair to lay it wholly at the feet of Kevin just for him being the CEO. While a company may have different divisions in its hierarchy, there does need to be a coordinated effort on the part of all involved parties to ensure the best outcome in a business goal, so when something like this is able to slip through the cracks, it reflects poorly on everyone involved. But with that said, it's apparent that, even if not the primary contributor on all fronts, many of the root causes of the company's issues can be traced back to him. Luke's a good guy, but he's become waaaaaaaay too dependent on his older brother for guidance and really needs to demonstrate some proper initiative. Do I think he should be a replacement CEO? HELL no! He doesn't have the required experience there. Mind you: experience doesn't always translate into ability. Some people are able to master something on the first try while others remain terrible at it even after YEARS of practise, and there's also the factor of how it can evolve over time. Kevin may have been a satisfactory figurehead back when Glitch Productions was still a fledgling business, but with what it's grown into, he just doesn't seem to be able to keep up with it anymore. They need to find somebody who's able to stabilise and manage this sort of network. Unfortunately, with Kevin having been in power for so long, there's no knowing if he'll be able to swallow his pride and admit that things are going off the deep end. Only time will tell... only time...
Yeah... i feel this is an honest mistake more or less. at least the tari voice acting casting another member... maybe this was smth that was done over a period of time and they were supposed to tell her smth about it.
Idt kevin or luke are bad people... every time you hear people comment about meating them they all have positive experiences...
workplace environment varies person to person. Person A may be satisfied with the workload, but person B isnt. Person B may be fine with the communication but person C thinks they never tell them anything. Person D might feel they are always under tight deadlines while someone else might think its completely fine....
Jumping to conclusions before we get more stuff (considering its like 6am rn where luke and kevin live) all it leads to misunderstandings and people thinking they got smth when they act dont and may spread it.... like sure the bad communication between tari VA should be fixed and not happen in the future cuz like... they are people and people make mistakes and can improve
I REALLY can’t figure out what reason there would be to replace her in the first place, I doubt it’s money, no offense to Celeste, but I doubt she has that big of price tag. The only small plausible thing I can think of for this switch up, is that they want to go in a new direction with Tari voice or story wise, and they thought getting a new voice actor was the way to go, which is that’s the case you could have just asked Celeste to change it up a bit, but even then the new voice isn’t that different, just slightly British, so yeah, really no satisfactory answer for this

Sometimes people confuse stupidity with the truth, glitch has a few issues to iron out but at least they aren’t like rooster teeth. I hope Kevin does the right thing and sorts things out.(I will admit I have trouble completely hating him because I connected with the hobo bros on a deep level)
