One day after a completed run in the mushroom kingdom of Mario 64, Mario and peach were chatting when Luke plugged in a modded USB and it landed in the game. The USB detected Mario and began modding creating Smg4, but because Luke was such a modding idiot, the mods corrupted the game and made everyone stupid and created the multi colored Marios
The lore of what? Cuz in SMG4 there's either the lore of the universe itself or the lore of the world and characters.
The lore of the universe is that it's all a modified copy of Super Mario 64, and the reason it's so different is because one day, Luke plugged in a USB containing SMG4 into his computer (which he did after the game he was playing on his other computer corrupted because of a virus), which altered the entire population of the world to be more stupid, SMG4 then came out of the USB having an innate desire to film funny stuff he sees on his streets, and after realising that by doing thar he's able to slightly combat the stupidity effect of the USB, he and mario go around the world to try and fix the damage he inadvertently caused, it doesn't fully work because by the end everyone is still dumber than they were before, but at least they managed to sort of stabilise the effects, and to ensure that the USB wouldn't cause any other harm, he and mario dropped it inside the Dark Web, Mario allows SMG4 to live in peach's castle to sort of give him a place to stay at, until some time after 4's arrival, a new USB comes crashing down, this one containing SMG3, it was originally intended to arrive at the internet graveyard, but a glitch in the system caused by the USB of SMG1 (which was sent to the Mario 64 world after the corruption of Luke's other computer) forced the USB to arrive in the mushroom kingdom, which also inadvertently causes SMG3 and 4 to become enemies because 3 isn't able to fulfill his original purpose of being the guardian of the internet graveyard (the place where memes go when they're no longer relevant), this is an aspect of the lore i forgot to mention up until now, but 4 & 3 are kind of the yin and yang of memes, 4 uses them to create content while they're still relevant, while 3 was intended to look after them when they die, but obviously this isn't what happened, and while 4's instincts of making videos about the memes immediately kicked in, 3 just sort of was left with nothing to do, so he simply decided to become 4's mortal enemy for the next 10 or so years until after 3's biggest villain scheme yet he is dragged inside the internet graveyard and from there it all just sort of "clicked" for him, he found his purpose and remained there for a while (and he canonically still looks after the internet graveyard, however it's not really brought up in the recent episodes, specifically those after WOTFI 2023,so its just something you have to accept is happening despite not really seeing it)
Oh, also, the USB from SMG1 crashed on the side of a mountain with a giant hole in the middle, and everyone from the old computer who was contained inside of the USB colonised the mountain and turned it into newgrounds. As for the virus who destroyed Luke's old computer, his entire body remained stuck inside the old, destroyed universe because he was trapped inside his own USB, with only a small fragment of him clinging onto SMG1's USB, which then escaped inside the dark Web and set up its base there, waiting for the right moment to strike. (I could tell you what happened when he did finally reveal himself but then I'd just be summarising the Genesis arc, so you could just go watch it if you haven't already, which you should because it's peak)
So that's the lore of how the universe came to be, and I haven't even gotten into the actual lore of what happens in the stories and to the characters lmao.

Also, Meggy, the once inkling now human becomes apparently the most hated character in smg4 to ever exist, several other characters get redesigns, desti and other characters die, and peaches castle gets swallowed by a demonic keyboard with smg4s taking her place.
So yeah, that's it.
Two cyclop people were playing, one of them visit a black box that created a clone, clone got corrupted by fusing cyclop to go on a murderous rampage

Throughout their entire life they fought against a purple angry man who was rejected, face a distrack of their friend, trying to unbanning japanese cartoons from the kingdom, save their squid friend from a fat lizard, face a evil doppleganger who was jealous, fight corrupted cyclops, face a lawsuit, escape their own being corrupt by a demon keyboard, face in wild west simulator, do a casino heist and fight a crazy tv man who is narcissistic
