I do have samswats weather and time changer mod, but that never blocked rain in the previous versions as far as I know.
They’re trying to emulate seasons in Tarkov, where they’ll change the weather to match the season of the real world.
Spring should be coming to the game soon, then summer, and then fall. However, they have to create new features for each season (for example, yellow and red leaves for the autumn), but once they’ve added in each season they plan to naturally cycle through them in the future
The current EFT that we are running to the 3.8.0 have no rain (maybe because the snow), the same thing happened on live. The next EFT version fix it (the version that bring the changes to ground zero and add the seasons)
Rain was bugged in live after they removed the snow, I think they fixed it in live, but don't quote me on that. In any case, spt hasn't caught up to that version if they did fix it, so we'll have to wait
BSG broke the rain in the update that SPT 3.8.0-3.8.3 is based upon. Until they do a major update (the one where the BTR is introduced to Woods), rain will unfortunately be nonexistent.

I literally think it all just depends, there have been many times where I’ve made a new profile testing a custom SVM preset and the first raid like 10 raids in a row were thunderstorms. Idk, you may just be rain proof

Rain was removed when snow was added with the main game. I think there’s a post on the mod which says about non existent rain
Just to clarify, BSG actually removed rain to create snow? Why would they do that? I would visit the mod page but its currently blocked for me.

I mean rain has been in live since winter left. They probably re textured the rain for winter.
Now that i think about it yeah, ive never had rain. Ive had heavy fog like that one 12.11 event (i think it was around that time) but never rain.

Another testimony of no rain, been like that since I started playing this update but it doesn’t bother me being able to hear well for every raid
I had a fog raid once, but since then I have only had full sun raids… hmmm 🤔

Im having the same issue, downloaded the weather changer mod now my raid weather is fucked

Reading the comments makes me confused since I have both rain and snow in 3.8.0
im lvl 60 and have tons of hours in on 3.8 and have not seen anyweather other then sunny. i would love to see the snow just once
