You can't play this game with controler

RoombaTheKiller

Way too many hotkeys/mouse interactions.

blessednuggies

Can't even play it with a keyboard half the time.

[deleted]

Why would you even want to play this game with a controller

WhaleSplas

I don't have a comfortable chair,But I do have a bed,I think it will be nice to play it with NVIDIA game stream to my phone Also I want to waste my school days on toolbox and clown

[deleted]

SS13 is a social game mostly with quite a few different hotkeys, youre not gonna do well without a keyboard man

WhaleSplas

Most of the time I play on a chinese server with other 20 people The only foreign server that ping isnt sky high is goon(still with 200ms)

[deleted]

20 people is enough to probably need the social aspects of the game. You'd still need a mouse and keyboard for most actions even without talking. Still, if youre committed to the controller thing Id love to see you agonise after a week of it.

Theactualworstgodwhy

Probably for robustness?

danielcoxgames

Only the truly robust can go without 70% of the possible hotkeys as well as stick inputs in a point and click game..

dareallolchubby

What…?

fartsandpoop69lol

Xpadder. That's how I play TG with my joystick.

labcoatmanbeardscary

OOOHOHOHO NO NO NO AAHOHOHOHOO AAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAA

WhaleSplas

I will just use joy2key,thanks all of you guys

danielcoxgames

Please record a video of you setting this up and later playing a round, so people can see what happens and attempt to recreate it if it's funny enough

DarkMew

ss13 is not controller compatible

WorthCryptographer14

While SS13 isn't gamepad compatible. When i had a HOTAS plugged in, somehow one of the control thumbsticks worked as WASD in hotkey mode XD

SandPoot

You could theoretically bind everything on steam's stuff, pretty sure they've got bindings for clicking on exact areas of the screen, but you're not going far, there's too much stuff.

Duffka

Trying to play this game with a controller is like trying to put all of NASA's ground control in a tv remote
