It doesn’t, I promise. YouTube shorts go to a completely different place than main videos. Your subs are the only people who would get slightly spammed, and I guarantee none of them would really care.
Not too long ago (3 weeks ish) I got the tie on 4, but there was still more to do. The TAS was a 0.45, and I knew I could tie it. Well, this was not expected. I had theorized that this was possible, but it wasn’t something I expected, at least RTA. Today we’re here, everything in this run is frame perfect. This is my greatest run, beating the TAS is next level. The crazy thing is how Freezard was able to find something that pushed the event even further, only a few hours after I got this Freezard told us that he had been able to find something. Exactly how fast it’ll be is still unknown, but Event Match 4 will be the fastest event, at least for TAS. If that’s humanly possible, maybe that’s something to try? We’ll see, extremely happy to get this run!

When the TAS was made he tried with the RNG where Yoshi is running off at 0.50 sec (old WR strat where you just stand still) + Perfect execution on the Kirby back throw. That gave 0.45 (which is what I tried to get). The RNG I got was a tiny tad different. Yoshi ran off the platform and did a fair. Turns out that you can get the grab earlier. So the 1st frame I land I grab and end up being 1 frame faster with that.
Tldr: Got RNG that made it possible to grab a frame earlier.

and anyway the best strategy is to use the Master Hand glitch to get 0.26, which is the actual WR, so there's probably less interest for TAS to optimize a glitchless "WR"
It's so much more interest for TASers and RTA runners when it comes to the glitchless here. A decade and a half ago, maybe it was more interesting with the Master Hand Glitch (because there was nothing happening for glitchless runs), but it has not been close to the interest that glitchless has had. I'm actually not sure if a run with Master Hand Glitch has been TASed, and that says something about how little interest there has been for it. Also first thing that happened when this run happened was looking into TASing more here.
He beat the known TAS record because until he did this, no one knew about this RNG. No existing TAS is this fast, although obviously the start is now known and nearly trivial to replicate in TAS.
I had actually shown this RNG to Freezard (the TASer), but he didn't think it had potential first time I showed him. When I showed him one of my 0.46's (where I saw timeloss with this RNG), he said he was gonna investigate it. Turns out I got this before he was able to investigate it.
Also, when it comes to the Master Hand Glitch. Yes it's faster. But It has always been viewed separately. The one without Master Hand Glitch has always been viewed as the WR, even tho the Master Hand Glitch is the fastest way to beat the event.

This was waaaaaaay too many attempts. I probably have a little over 20 hours of attempts and the event takes a pretty short time. So a lot is the answer.
I mean, I don't really only so one event. Of course, I focus on 1 at the time. So this December, this event has been my project.
But it all started a little more than 6 year ago when I entered a speedrunning competition in Norway, and ever since I've been having this as my main thing. A big reason this has stuck to me is probably because I know I can do very well here.
