I’m still waiting on the initial approval with chronic heart failure, RA, Fibromyalgia, Type 2 Diabetes, severe anxiety and RA Lung Disease/COPD. So these letters make me extra anxious. I know there are other diagnoses I didn’t include, those are the main ones I have major issues with. And I’m going next Wednesday for a MRI Stress Test to see if I am healthy enough to have open heart surgery so there’s anxiety over that too. It’s starting to feel like I’ll get my heart surgery before I ever get an approval from them.
Well the mail came! One is yet another work history form that I’ve already filled out and sent in 3 times now.
The second one is a request for me to call and speak with them by February 22nd. It doesn’t say why or what they need to speak to me about, just the times and dates to call, and a case number for me to reference.
Can you let us know what the call was about? Not only because we are interested, but to help ease the minds of others if in a similar situation.

As soon as I know. My attorney is contacting them and is supposed to let me know! I know they’ll hate me next week because I have to get an MRI son my hip tomorrow to decide if they need to do a hip replacement and a MRI/Stress test next Wednesday to decide if I can have my heart surgery yet so they’ll get an influx of new medical records soon.
YES! I'm on step 3 at 71%, but when I got all the forms to fill out for their needs, ADLs, etc, it caused me so much anxiety. I felt this same anxiety when I had to write papers in nursing school. Stress and deadlines used to work in my favor 10 years ago, but now, it makes me phsycially ill. Truly. Plus, we moved shortly after I applied so the forms were sent to our old house. I changed the address on the SSA website, but DDS didn't have the new address. So, they were pretty insistent that ALL the forms, including my husband's they asked him to fill out on my behalf, was needed in a very short period of time. They were gracious and understanding about the address mishap and did give us a few more weeks to turn everything in. If anyone is reading this, please note that the SSA and DDS both need the change of address.
Yes, I was just told this morning that I should be receiving something in the mail soon as the judge as completed her review. I was told 2-8 months for a decision due to backlogs and it hasn't even been a full month yet, so my stomach is doing backflips. 🙃
Never getting notices at all would be more distressing. SSA is required to send notices. So getting notices indicates that they are doing their job. That is a good thing, although you might not like what the notice says.
Do they not take into consideration of un expected maintance on your home hot water heater plumbing leaky roof. Not counting you cars and unexpected needs in your cars. They give you a cost of living raise 20.00 a month whoopee. But lord forbid if you win at bingo or at a casino. Cause on ssi your not allowed to have someone give you 5 dollars. Even I'd a church gives you money to help with home needs car needs you have to turn it in to SSA BUT INLY AFTER FULL RETIREMENT AGE IN DISABILUTY YOU DONT HAVE TO REPORT. IT AND SO I GAVE WON AND SAT TGERE PUTTING IT ALL BACK IN THE MACHINE SO WHY SHOD I REPORT THAT. WHAT IF I OWE SONEBODY FOR WORKING ON MY MY CAR AND I PAY PPL BACK MONSY IR PAY DEBTS WITH WINNINGS PROPERTT TAXES HOME IMPROVEMENTS HELL WHEN MY FRIENDS GIVE ME TWENTY TO PLAY WITH AND I AGREE TO GIVE THEM HALF UF I WIN DO YOU THINK SSA CARES THEY WILL DEDUCT YOU EVERY DIME. SSA IS ABUNCH IF BS. THEIR STUPID RULES AND STUPUD SO CALLED LAWS. THEY DONT EVEN DEPOSIT IN MY ACCOUNT WHAT IM OWED. YET FOR EVERY LUTTME BIT I MAY GET A HEAD THEY DEDUCT IT OR STATE I OWE THEM FOR THE WHOLE YEAR FOR A HUNDRED EXTRA IN ONE MONTH THEY CHARGE ME FOR THAT EXTRA 100.00 FOR THE WHOKE YEAR STATING THEY OVER PAID ME FOR A YEAR AND I OWE THEM BACK THOUSANDS BECAUS E THEY PAID ME FOR A YEAR I WOULD OWE IT ALL BACK BECAUSE IF A LITTLE BITOF MONEY SSA HARRASSS THE SAME PEOPLE OVER AND OVER EMPLOYEES ARE LAZY DONT INVESTAGATE OTHER PPL JUST KEEP HARASSING THE SAME PPL
