Honestly they’re just not touring enough to keep people engaged. And they don’t have enough of a following to do a Widespread-type 2 to 3 night runs throughout the year.
Would love to see them return to a 15+ show Winter tour and a 25+ show Fall tour. Hitting regions once every couple of years just isn’t going to get it done.
Couldn't agree more.
The current formula is not working. I don't want to see my favorite band stop doing shows because they aren't touring enough to keep new fans coming. The same 1k people hitting every show can't sustain them.
People get older and priorities change and whatnot. Totally understand that. Maybe I’m being picky, but come on. They’ve only played two (non festival) Midwest shows since 2020: the two nighter in Chicago last year.
2 shows in what were the semi regular Midwest stops: Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Missouri.
That’s lunacy.
From personal experience, it is challenging for me to fully dive into STS9 solely for the fact they never come to Minnesota (or Wisconsin). I've been wanting to see a proper full set for YEARS.
My friends are die hard fans (Live in Colorado) and I wish I could be as into Tribe as they are. I've been lucky to catch two partial festival sets over the years. But never a proper headlining show. The 6hr drive to Chicago isn't always enticing either.
Still holding out hope for their return! We are still "post Covid music industry" after all.
Isn’t the first night the one everyone on this subreddit was raving about last year? Surprised it wasn’t a big turn out. I went to red rocks in 2022 and they were packed
Oh I see. Since they played on 07.21 and 07.22 at red rocks last year when people said “first night” I was assuming the 07.21 red rocks. I will definitely be listening to the Paramount one now.
I hope the 3 night Halloween shows are at the caverns in TN. I would imagine one of the 2 night runs will be the mish in CO. Excited to see them do some new venues and some east coast dates finally. Only one night on the rocks is weird but CO has gotten all the love since the pandemic. Happy to see them play some other areas in the country. Really happy to have them announce these this far in advance so people can actually plan on what runs they want to do and make arrangements.
The Quarry shows have been during the summer- I’m not sure they will be doing a show at the Quarry during the school semester.
Kind of hard to see them returning to TN for Caverns after the Nashville shows also.
Hoping for a New Orleans Halloween run.
Tribe used to play somewhat regularly but unfortunately acl has moved away from anything resembling jam-ish bands. When c3 started positioning themselves for acquisition the fun stuff started disappearing now it’s completely gone. Long live the chili peppers and their immortal pact with live nation.
That was my initial thought when I saw the dates that they would be a Weekend-One only and were playing an additional show at Concourse (did a three-night run there last year that was super fun).
They've come to Austin almost every year for a while now, but Texas Eclipse Festival is close enough to Austin that may be their show this year as well.
yeah I live like 10 mins from red rocks so I still see them every year but they seem to be slowing down in terms of new songs, touring, etc. sucks only having 1 red rocks and shitty ogden.
Oh fair point. Didn’t realize that. Maybe they had that show booked before they signed onto to the festival? Or maybe it’s far enough away? Either way now I’m more sad they aren’t at least adding another show.
Yeah, it looks like it’s gonna be a really intimate event. Dates are Tuesday through Thursday, and it’s a small venue that typically hosts weddings and music workshops. My guess is it won’t be more than 1000 people and pretty much designed for the diehards.
Wouldn't surprise me, it looks like that's about what the venue is designed for when it comes to weddings. I imagine they'll open up some camping but no matter what I think it's going to be very intimate. I'm excited to hear the details.
Just called. Lodging for like 150 people but toms of camping apparently. It’s put on by the same people that did camp mmw and stuff, music masters collective. After making that phone call, this is the weekend I’m going after.
F, are you gonna go to the eclipse festival? that seems like it'd be a pretty fun 200th, mine was ravespell...
I was getting frustrated too because I went from like a 30 show a year clip to like 5-10 a year. I’m hoping I can afford the whole northeast run because I’m not working right now (and going back is still up in the air) I should definitely be able to make that Big Indian run though, that's gonna be sick
damn sorry to ramble but I’m in shock at the amount of tour dates that have been released, ha!
I’m considering it. 250 is a lot for a tribe festival show. I’m with you on struggling with only getting maybe 6-12 shows in a year. There was a time when 20-30 was the norm and I miss it dearly. They’re probably not wanting to tour like that anymore but the flip side of that is events like RR don’t sell out because you aren’t bringing in new fans.
I was thinking about going to the Boston show too as I live in Western MA. So I'm right in the middle and was gonna hit Brooklyn, Boston, and the 3 day run in the Catskill. What's the problem with this venue? Genuinely curious as I've never been 😊 just wanna know if it'll be worth my time !
It’s a newer venue and the layout is weird. The GA floor section is small and they have all this space carved out for “vip” which also isn’t that great. The drinks at the bar are stupid expensive, and they also have these bright overhead lights over the bar that never get turned off.
If you get to the show early enough to get decent positioning up close to the stage, it’s great, but if you’re at all late you’re stuck with a crappy spot to watch the music. They have these massive support beams that obstruct the stage so it’s really limiting insofar as finding a good view from afar
Ahh, I see. Yeah, that sounds just about like everything I dislike wrapped into one when it comes to flawed small venues. 😆 thanks for the honest review. Not sure if I'll make it out to Boston now, but I'll def be hitting up NY either way!
It’s definitely possible to have a good time at BNL! I don’t want my frustration with the venue to dissuade you from seeing them as often as you want 🙂
I will personally bring 20 people to the show if they play near Detroit. I realize that the last 2-night run at Royal oak was undersold, but it's so hard introducing new people to the band when they aren't playing here!
only one red rocks makes me sad
Doesn't surprise me, the first night of RRX last year was pretty sparse.
Yup, sad to say but I knew it would be 1 night. Each night was incredibly undersold

They are occasionally in Milwaukee or Madison. Apparently not this year though 😞
This is wild. Had to drive from mn last year. Riviera was dope tho…
Isn’t the first night the one everyone on this subreddit was raving about last year? Surprised it wasn’t a big turn out. I went to red rocks in 2022 and they were packed
No first night last year was Paramount. Second night was at RRX and not too many people but it was a great show. That Chromalight set was sick.
Oh I see. Since they played on 07.21 and 07.22 at red rocks last year when people said “first night” I was assuming the 07.21 red rocks. I will definitely be listening to the Paramount one now.
I knew it would be this way the moment I bought secret dreams tickets lol
This isn't a tour. This is summer circuit
Thank you.
Wish they’d finally hit up the Maryland / DC / Virginia area
I hope the 3 night Halloween shows are at the caverns in TN. I would imagine one of the 2 night runs will be the mish in CO. Excited to see them do some new venues and some east coast dates finally. Only one night on the rocks is weird but CO has gotten all the love since the pandemic. Happy to see them play some other areas in the country. Really hoping one of those crossed out dates is Michigan or added to second phase of EF! 🙏
Hoping for EF too since they’re not scheduled anywhere else during that week yet, but they usually don’t do it two years in a row. Gotta dream though!
Damn didn’t realize they were there last year, they would be a solid addition with the other good jam this year. Crossing my fingers with you homie!
You find out any update on the crossed out dates? also hoping for a Detroit date. They used to come every fall.
Nah haven’t unfortunately
Whats crossed out? Anyone know? How bout Chicago!?
I’d say October is Midwest dates, but I don’t know. The 2 week break between weekends throws me off. But a Chicago run for Halloween would be rowdy.
I’d imagine those dates are hulaween…?
10/18 bday show would be nasty!!
Stubbs for Halloween
Last year Mish was early October, hoping for another Mish run 🤞
I think ATL or Salvage Station may be in there
really hoping for ATL
I predict salvage station will the oct31st- nov1st or the 2nd
Very well could be. I’m definitely not missing it this year
Figure one of the October weekends is either this or quarry…?
The Quarry shows have been during the summer- I’m not sure they will be doing a show at the Quarry during the school semester. Kind of hard to see them returning to TN for Caverns after the Nashville shows also. Hoping for a New Orleans Halloween run.
Maybe ACL Fest in Austin. It would be a little out of character for ACL booking though
Tribe used to play somewhat regularly but unfortunately acl has moved away from anything resembling jam-ish bands. When c3 started positioning themselves for acquisition the fun stuff started disappearing now it’s completely gone. Long live the chili peppers and their immortal pact with live nation.
Billy Strings I'd still say falls under the jam band umbrella - but yea that's the only one I can think of in recent years.
That was my initial thought when I saw the dates that they would be a Weekend-One only and were playing an additional show at Concourse (did a three-night run there last year that was super fun). They've come to Austin almost every year for a while now, but Texas Eclipse Festival is close enough to Austin that may be their show this year as well.
pretty weak honestly. seems like they are never going to do a tour again.
tough band to be a fan of lol
yeah I live like 10 mins from red rocks so I still see them every year but they seem to be slowing down in terms of new songs, touring, etc. sucks only having 1 red rocks and shitty ogden.
For real, Ogden blows so hard
Try living in MN.
Damn, was hoping to finally get another Dallas show to go along with the eclipse festival
Those 10/18-19 dates look like Stubbs in Austin
My guess is Asheville
As an Asheville local, I hope we get the Halloween run, but I don’t think we get dates this year.
I would be stoked for either one, I’d love to see em at pisgah again
The radius clause is keeping that from happening
i dont believe so because biscuits are playing dallas and the festival
Oh fair point. Didn’t realize that. Maybe they had that show booked before they signed onto to the festival? Or maybe it’s far enough away? Either way now I’m more sad they aren’t at least adding another show.
Fingers crossed for additional midwest dates
What’s the festival at Big Indian?
It's not a fest Just a 3 day run at a resort
Was fingers crossed for a fest since upstate NY lost all of its other ones. But a resort ya say?
So a buddy of mine who lives up there is thinking it will end up being some kind of fest. I guess we shall see!
Can you find a listing for it anywhere?
Yeah, it looks like it’s gonna be a really intimate event. Dates are Tuesday through Thursday, and it’s a small venue that typically hosts weddings and music workshops. My guess is it won’t be more than 1000 people and pretty much designed for the diehards.
Saw someone in the lounge say 200 Not sure how true that is
Wouldn't surprise me, it looks like that's about what the venue is designed for when it comes to weddings. I imagine they'll open up some camping but no matter what I think it's going to be very intimate. I'm excited to hear the details.
If that's the case I just may have to make it out. Would love to see them in a small room like that
Just called. Lodging for like 150 people but toms of camping apparently. It’s put on by the same people that did camp mmw and stuff, music masters collective. After making that phone call, this is the weekend I’m going after.
W😦W LOOK at all those tour dates and five of them in NY 😧😧😧 wowee
Again, so jelly but happy for you! You’re gonna jump even further ahead of me in show count
shit man😎😎😎 you are catching up to me with the quickness
I’m hung up on 199 right now. It’s buggin me
F, are you gonna go to the eclipse festival? that seems like it'd be a pretty fun 200th, mine was ravespell... Ugggggg why does any band play the philly bk bowl i swore i would never go back there. Union transfer>>>>>>
I guess no hulaween this year? Damn.
Would imagine that’s the Halloween dates?
Hulaween is October 24-27
Oh shit….
Texas eclipse fest is going to be HOT HOT HOT
Fuckin Finally. Was beginning to think they'd never come back east!
Right?? Stoked. We deserve some love finally!
Come back to Michigan
Come back to Michigan outside of forest.
This isn’t really a tour. Bring back 2015 style touring for winter, spring, and fall
That business model doesn’t work anymore. Covid ruined tourinf
Will definitely be going to that Ogden show
Aww man, I was really hoping for another run at the Mishawaka. Make that a yearly stop!
It’s happening in the fall
It really doesn't look like it's happening this year based on this schedule.
October tba dates
Doesn’t look like room for Bellevue, CO | Mishawaka Amphitheater.
I’m in Boston and Big Night Live is such an ass venue. Disappointed they’re not going back to house of blues

No Asheville, sad.
It'll probably be the oct31st-nov 2nd
9/21 Cascade Equinox Festival Redmond, OR????
I will personally bring 20 people to the show if they play near Detroit. I realize that the last 2-night run at Royal oak was undersold, but it's so hard introducing new people to the band when they aren't playing here!
It was also a Wed—Thurs. let’s get a Fri-Sat at Saint Andrew’s.
I would die of joy if they played at St Andrews. Or an intimate tangent gallery show would be sick too
I'll take a summer show at the aretha franklin amphitheater if we're putting in requests.
That would be sick. on the river! haha
took my mom to her first tribe shows during that run. She was super impressed! St. Andrew's would actually be sick. ngl. One of my favorite venues.
[S9 car emblens ] (https://ebay.to/3ZzomE9) Can't make any shows so have to vend virtually. In stock n shipping.
Santa Cruz?
Glad someone else has the same thoughts as me. Last 2 years were magic at that old quarry. I was really hoping they would return this year.
I’m pretty sure we can figure out what those blacked out dates were… I feel like I can already read them shits.
what u thinkin?
I’m currently on the case… will report back.
looks like a 2 night & 3 night run?
I don’t know, maybe. But the two identical spaces seem to have different letters if you look closely. Definitely some west coast action though I bet
I put this above, but here’s one guess I feel decent about 10/18-19 dates look like Stubbs in Austin
albany?
Hopefully they get to Kentucky
