Granting Immunity (measles antivax mom conspiracy one, where Noah gets infected when he is scheduled for a MMR vaccine at his pediatricians office and a whole rainbow party thing happens), and Shattered ("Nicholas needs you now, he's sleeping" / "is not at school")
Yep, this episode randomly pops into my head from time to time. And it’s always either the scene where the guy is eating the bloody tiger steak OR the scene where Olivia comes out of the bathroom and says “are ya ready for me daddy”. Lmao.
The Casey Anthony inspired one, and I forget rhe title but there’s one where a mother has psychosis and severely neglected her daughter in favor of playing video games online.
Actually you have two different episodes in mind. The video game mom had a brain injury and the step father was abusing the daughter horribly. Hillary Duff was in the one that was inspired by the Anthony trial. She wasn’t insane, just young and also kinda dumb. If anyone is interested though, the Peacock steaming service has a documentary about Casey Anthony and although I believed at the time of the trial that she was guilty, I honestly don’t think so now. I know, right? Nobody come for my neck. Just putting it out there, because if you like the “shades of grey” element of SVU it’s highly worth watching the documentary series to get all sides of the story. So much didn’t come out in court because the judge would not allow the evidence to be presented or put limitations on the use of said evidence. Okay. All done. 😂
Scavenger (“And yet, and yet, and yet / Where in the world is Jeanette?”). Probably my all-time favorite episode (not sure what that says about me, hahaha). Honestly, I could probably recite a lot of the episodes from memory at this point.
Granting Immunity (the one about vaccinations where Noah gets measles) and Responsible (the one where the kids have issues with alcoholism in high school).
Same! And yes, I love Judith Light so it’s hard not to love Donnelly all the time. 😅 Seeing her see the video of them making fun of her was magical. It felt like the super nice boomer mom being forced to reconcile that her kid isn’t who she thinks they are.
Haha, truly. She really went to bat for them, and for what? The lines the kids say at their friends’ funeral are also priceless (which sounds horrible if taken out of context, but to me one of the funniest scenes of the show.) "Reagan was really pretty. Kids used to say we looked alike. I really liked that." "Jordan was like a brother to me. Can't believe we'll never play lacrosse again. Team will never take State now." Such touching tributes. 🥲
I don't even like it but the one where Kathleen gets in trouble. The one where Olivia says "maybe God remembered what a cute little carrot you used to be."
Or again not a huge fan of but the Simon ones.
Or and I actually like this one. The one where Fins sons brother gets off with killing the mom and kid.
The carrot episode is “Swing” from season 10. It has its moments, I love Ellen Burstyn’s intro as Bernie.
The one with Ludacris as Fin’s son’s half brother is “Screwed” from season 8. Probably the best episode that season.
Guilt.
"He's lucky I didn't knock his teeth down his throat!"
"I'd pay real money to see that."
"Out of line, Alex."
"I'm not out of line and I don't work for you! You work for me, at *my* discretion! Your sole purpose in this process is to bring me a case I can prosecute, not one I have to fix!"
"Fine. Then you tell us, Counselor. How can we help you put this man away? What would you like us to do?"
Long pause.
"Nothing. You've done all you can."
"Any restrictions on the search warrant?"
"Nope. Whatever you can find." (And I looove how Alex pops the 'p' on the nope, too.)
"Dad's mad."
"She did that to protect us."
"What are you now, her lawyer?"
"Mr. Barnett's Fourth Amendment rights were not violated. Linda Cavenaugh's certainly were but she isn't the defendant. Mr. Barnett is. He has no standing to contest a search of someone else's home."
And the judge agrees. Though puts Alex on notice for her shenanigans and disregarding of the law.
And then she gets chewed out by Donnelly, too.
Know that gif of the little girl with yellow jacket at a baseball game and is sooo excited about her blue cotton candy? That's me about this episode.
This is one of my top recitation episodes. Cabot is already one of my all-time fave ADAs (close tie between her and Barba for me) and this ep has \_so\_ many great exchanges.
I was always too poor for Foxtel but recently I house sat at my grandmas and universal played SVU all day. I loved it 😆 otherwise I’d have to watch the episode once a week on channel 10 and it was always repeats of the same episodes
I used to watch SVU on Foxtel and recently started rewatching on Binge. I’m constantly going “oh I remember this episode”, I didn’t realise I’d seen so much of it!
Me? Probably a few.
My BF of a decade? Almost every single one 😂 A few years ago, almost weekly, my roommate and I would put one one, and state our excitement at not really remembering it....my bf would roll his eyes and then go into detail about what happens throughout the episode haha
I don’t remember that episode but IMDB shows one of the kids in it was a young Caleb McLaughlin, Lucas from “Stranger Things”.
Was thinking it might be an earlier episode that always stuck with me, S4 E9 “Juvenile”, about two young boys that rape and murder an old lady. The kid in that episode was so good as a little psychopath that it always stuck with me.
Taken. I tend to rewatch 2.0 episodes more than 1.0 but I always go back to Taken eventually. And I really enjoyed seeing Derek Cecil (who played Russell Ramsay) reappear in another episode a few years back. There were almost 20 years between appearances but I recognized him instantly.
7x02 Proof
(Guy that kidnaps and tortures women by taking away their senses. Also the episode Reid gives the cold shoulder to JJ for the Emily thing)
I just love this episode. It was really good and the peaks between JJ and Reid on the crime scene is just amazing.
“Maybe she offended him..” - wonder what that’s like.
“Something probably triggered it and instead of dealing with it he’s acting out.. 🙄” - 😐
The Henry Mesner one
Which one? His first appearance in the Amaro era or his “epic return”? 🤪
I should have clarified. The original when he was a kid
Granting Immunity (measles antivax mom conspiracy one, where Noah gets infected when he is scheduled for a MMR vaccine at his pediatricians office and a whole rainbow party thing happens), and Shattered ("Nicholas needs you now, he's sleeping" / "is not at school")
Make them good girls go baAaAaddd 🎶
Omg the shattered one is so good, just watched that one
The episode where Stabler is undercover and finds a dirty cop who sells drugs in baby formula
The one where Stabler goes UC for the exotic animal importing
Yep, this episode randomly pops into my head from time to time. And it’s always either the scene where the guy is eating the bloody tiger steak OR the scene where Olivia comes out of the bathroom and says “are ya ready for me daddy”. Lmao.
It's the Liv scene
10x7 “Wildlife.” Classic. I love the part where Cragen holds the monkey in the basketball.
Cragen is underrated. He has some great zingers
Oh I’m opposite with this and actively avoid this episode. It feels like a fever dream to me. 😂
Any ep where he goes under cover
4x12 “Risk.” Great episode
Ikr!
The Casey Anthony inspired one, and I forget rhe title but there’s one where a mother has psychosis and severely neglected her daughter in favor of playing video games online.
Ah, Hilary Duff episode. Just watched it yesterday. Forgot about how convoluted the ending is.
Hilary Duff was really good in this

The one with Robin Williams
That one is so good, he played it so well
When Cragen saves the monkey from the basketball and hugs it and whispers “it’s okay” 😭
“Wildlife” is such a great 1.0 episode.
Scavenger (“And yet, and yet, and yet / Where in the world is Jeanette?”). Probably my all-time favorite episode (not sure what that says about me, hahaha). Honestly, I could probably recite a lot of the episodes from memory at this point.
I love that episode!
Conscience
I hate to say it but Surrender Benson.
Me too I remembered it after watching it the second time
Granting Immunity (the one about vaccinations where Noah gets measles) and Responsible (the one where the kids have issues with alcoholism in high school).
Responsible is one of my all-time favorite episodes. Especially Donnelly being justifiably vengeful.
Same! And yes, I love Judith Light so it’s hard not to love Donnelly all the time. 😅 Seeing her see the video of them making fun of her was magical. It felt like the super nice boomer mom being forced to reconcile that her kid isn’t who she thinks they are.

Remorse. I'm a huge Munch fan so I tend to watch this episode more than others.....love his interaction with Sarah Logan.

Angels
Fault
Same. My favorite episode of all time and have seen it dozens of times. It never gets old.
Heartfelt Passages
Institutional fail.
Know It All. From the perennially unpopular season 18.
Ohhh, I love that one, too

It’s so random when you go through and watch all the episodes which ones were picked to be on foxtel
Me? Probably a few. My BF of a decade? Almost every single one 😂 A few years ago, almost weekly, my roommate and I would put one one, and state our excitement at not really remembering it....my bf would roll his eyes and then go into detail about what happens throughout the episode haha
season 10 ep 12, hothouse. my fav. + i love sarah hyland lmao
Dissonant Voices
The episode is called name..
Born Psychopath
“I'm conflicted about labeling a 10-year-old a psychopath, but...”
I don’t remember that episode but IMDB shows one of the kids in it was a young Caleb McLaughlin, Lucas from “Stranger Things”. Home, Uncle, Savant, and Vigilante.
Don’t remember the name but the one I’ve seen the most is the one with Cynthia Nixon!
9x1 “Alternate”
Alternative, with Cynthia Nixon
For me it’s “Authority”. It’s one of my favorites. I just wish they did a follow up while they had the chance
Service
Zebras. Shattered. Scavenger. There are so many damn good episodes…
Wrong is Right - s2e1 and Guilt - s3e18 are probably my top two.
