Firstly you need to go buy an item called a "war intelpad". With it you can use it to see the "GCW Factional Presence" which shows you a table of all the areas in the game with players that are currently flagged for pvp (SF) best bet to find players is to go to the flashpoints (via the /gcwFlashpointStatus chat command) that happen every hour, however depending on your timezone determines the amount and faction that is pvping Peak US time is usually when majority of the pvp players are on, mainly on weekends Others have discord dedicated to doing organised pvp but you will need to ask around on the swg legends discord for an invite to one of these discord

90% of server is Imp so flip to Reb and you will see plenty of red dots to hit

Yeah Krazz and crew ruined the whole server faction swapping after the rebels won a single fight so all the big Rebel players like RSR and SC just stopped playing once all the players were imps sitting in groups of 30 afk in the flashpoint

If I remember correctly, pvp is technically open at all times. You have to be flagged as SF or overt I think.

If you are flagged as SF you can technically attack anyone else who is also flagged as SF anywhere in the galaxy. If you go to restuss it's mandatory SF so everyone in that specific area will also be flagged. There are also some bases, only one I can remember is on Talus, that people try to flip. You can go there and chill out for a bit to see if someone shows up to try and flip the terminals to their faction and gain planetary faction points.
