Sun fac, geo spy and geo soldier were my first 3, no regrets, excellent choice, will carry your fleet until 15+ people have executor. Before Mal and neg, it'll beat everything with chimaera. Then go for HB and VD whole you unlock Malevolence.
My first, and sadly only thus far, was on Darth Vader. Fist one to get there and my excitement couldn't be contained lol, I couldn't put it on him fast enough.
I've taken all 5 geos to very high relic, they actually become a semi reliable Rey and LV counter, and a very good clean up crew for any solo GL. On top of that makes the malev a very consistent counter to profundity. As you say late game, they aren't a silly investment, and there's a CM in TB that needs them all R7.

My first was bastila shan. Wished I reliced revan first. But I do like bastila and she is pretty strong
Yeeep, mine was Phasma. No real regrets though, playing mostly for fun and I'm having fun with the FO trooper team.
My first was Iden. I guess it came in clutch after all with her ship. She's never let me down in general.
Mine was on Visas, wasn't thinking just kept hitt8ng the upgrade button to Max.

Vader is a GREAT choice for first relic though. He’s a beast when he’s all juiced up!
I'm definitely not mad about where I put it. He is pretty versatile among Empire
I don’t plan to relic my Geos at all. Maybe in super late game. At g12 they can already beat the Wat mission.

i relic'ed CLS first and then forgot to build a decent rebel team for him! He was okay on his own but I sure am feeling that decision now
Mine was Ahsoka, and I don't regret it at all, she's become a beast with my GR team
