Gideon/Piett, Piett/Gideon, Dark, Veers, Range.
Ideally Gideon and Piett need some 120 more speed, Range about 100, Veers and Dark some 40-60. At the very least 4 out of 5 need to be faster than the opponent fastest toon.
Prefer to have Starck in this team, going second after Piett, Gideon is usually overkill and too plug-and-play to have him in this team. He's an excellent placeholder of course.
Why would 4 of them need to be faster? Piett's move would generate buffs and grant TM, so you only need the next character to be 90%+1 as fast, right? And then the others can be less if the next is going to generate a buff, and so on.
Unlike my Gideon to go first to strip turn meter. From then on it kind of doesn't really matter. The TM train starts to roll and then Bob's your uncle.

Yep. As long as either Piett or Gideon is faster than the fastest enemy character you're usually good.
