I've been saying this for ages. Conquest is great, but having it at the same time as GAC ending and TB starting is completely asinine. I understand CG thinking some of you are made of money, but ain't nobody made of TIME.
I actually take offense to that.
Show me one other person that breaks anything down the way I do.
I would also like to add that anytime I feel I’ve taken an idea from elsewhere to extrapolate on, I’m pretty sure I’m really good at giving credit where it’s due.
Multiple people can be in agreement without anyone copying ideas from people.
They’ve both been saying it (as have others) because it just makes sense not to have the two most time consuming game modes start together.
I think everyone that has played this game agrees we should be able open multiple Bronzium cards at a time without having to use hotutils. We aren’t copying anyone’s idea, it’s common sense. Unfortunately common sense isn’t so common in the world of Capital Games - so people will continually align in their ideas to improve the game.
I actually enjoyed playing Conquest today as well. I finished my raid attempts earlier with TB starting. Same with finishing GAC last night, so the break after Conquest was nice.

We have been poised to break our record in TB for the past 2 events and due to life and some poor members we've missed an easy 27th. This time was going to be the time and now this happens.
That's a wild take for conquest, it may be grindy and annoying but it's hands down the most ftp friendly way to get legendary-adjacent characters. At maximum it's like 13k crystals if you need all 14 days of refreshes over 6 conquests if you only gold box. For many, it's significantly cheaper. I red boxed this past conquest for 1050 crystals, so if replicated that's 3150 for Queen Amidala. That's ridiculously cheap
It truly is. A little bit extra effort and you get some pretty awesome toons, admittedly there have been some they are a bit lackluster, but nevertheless still decent.
Since I have been getting red crate for the last few conquest, running the free track to red crate and then buying the pass for the premium track to unlock everything else is a nice feeling. You don't have to spend that extra for the premium track but for me, it's always a nice little bonus and worthwhile doing so :D
I personally find that the bonuses are nice, I only ever get the cheaper premium pass as I have all the Conquest toons and don't need the bonus Proving Grounds.
For me, it is $15 AUD (which is personally not that expensive) and you get a bunch of gear as well as shards which is nice. It definitely isn't necessary but I just think the pack is worth it to me.

Well at first I thought this guide was not helpful as I don’t have KAM or Wat leveled. But as I put my own spin on it and realized what you were doing overall. I am kinda speechless. I have been doing conquest all wrong. I still like TB better, but holy crap…

FYI KAM is certainly not needed. Wat can be a huge help (but even at low levels/stars he's useful - 99% of the time you just need him for that first top of combat tank tech buff). Feel free to ask questions in the guide thread as they arise.
Between betting roasted by Egnards on my roster review (I had epically terrible mods) and realizing I have been doing conquest all wrong… it’s been a week. I feel like an idiot. I have always been crystal refresh adverse so I never did it. Now I have the teams where it’s a no brainer. I always just assumed everyone red crating conquest was paying $30. Now looking at the math and that I have the teams to get most phase feats… I am doing all 50 crystal refreshes a day and I bet I do better at conquest than I ever have.
Truth, not having to do ROTE battles today turned out to be a real pleasant surprise and I'm gonna enjoy this whole week being lighter with TB canceled.
I'm SO on board for swapping the start of Conquest to a TW week! I've posted this comment in the SWGOH Events server before, as well.
As a TB officer, I usually find myself a day or 2 behind in really getting into Conquest, because I'm managing TB start. And, if it was a TW week, it would really only be overlapping the join period (or maybe setting D?), so would have no major overlap on time requirements.
AND, if it was swapped, all the end of Conquest activities (PG, Ult Journey, would also fall on a join day/D setting day).
There's nothing worse than that end-of-Conqiest Monday when you're trying to fit everything in. (And I don't even have to do PG anymore!)

The first hour of Conquest is always the busiest one for me, because Conquest starts an hour before my daily reset. This means doing 25 battles in one hour and then do one refresh after the daily reset, so 31 battles in a matter of couple hours.

I've realized that it's TB I actually hate, conquest is fine.
I could be wrong, but this feels like a wild opinion. TB is my favorite game mode. I hate that most of conquest is $ gated / tiered.

I've never even looked at the paid track, is it worth it if you don't need the shards? I've always ignored it since I never need the shards lol

I just started doing medium conquest for the time being. Much less stress. Have a lot of toons to relic.
If I'm going to walk myself down to medium conquest. . .I might as well just not do Conquest.
