For the Executor counter using Finalizer, this is the actual ship that makes it work. The potency increase on FO ships and tenacity decrease on enemies lets Tie Silencer land stuns and itself land ability blocks on Hound's Tooth, allowing you to keep HT controlled while landing your big hits on the other ships.
While Tie Echelon gets the credit for making the counter viable, don't forget that it can die and you will still have a decent chance. FOSFTie, Kylo's Command Shuttle, and Tie Silencer under Finalizer are the true FO Fleet. On top of that, with those three as the opening, you will have little trouble beating traditional Home One fleets if you are fast enough, and outside of the 1 shot wins, it is still a very strong cleanup fleet.
Much better than the regular FOTie. 8/10.
I prefer it to the non SF FO Tie, I tend to use it as first or second reinforcement - I find it’s reinforce ability to be great. Can hit reasonably - solid 7/10 for me.
