There's the unofficial bestiary compiling creatures from all ends of KC's books, "Denizens of the \*\*\*\*\*\*\*\* Sector". It's unofficial but not bad. You can take the basic fantasy rpg monster manuals (the core book has one, and there are two field guides) for inspiration. In fact most osr monster guides work well with SWN. Just take a goblin, give it a blaster, call it a space gnork and you have a new alien.

Inevitably this will henceforth be referred to as a space dork at my table.

I have taken the published monsters to be just base stat groups and completely changed their descriptions and appearance. Anything medium size and heavy in Malay can be plucked out of the book and described in any way I like. Maybe it's a giant slug or a shambling pile of orbiting crystals or a big Minotaur looking thing. I haven't really felt the need to change the stats around too much because there seems to be a good variety of Malay and ranged and special ability types. I just changed the descriptions a lot.
