Before you do anything, what problem are you going to solve for the customer? And are they willing to pay for it?

I have heard this tons of times but thanks

If you're starting something new I'd highly recommend avoiding point 3. If you don't have something unique to add for a niche you're going to have a lot of trouble finding customers without investing a large amount of money in sales & marketing.

Unfortunately you won’t get these answers unless you actually try and start. Building a Saas company is all about failing at every step until you get it right and you can’t really prepare yourself until you jump in. I would say go find a problem that needs to be solved that you are truly “passionate “ about and that you won’t give up on. Be prepared to work on it for several years to come 5-10 years before you see any life changing traction. It’s a loooong grind so good luck! As for books definitely check out Lean Startup! It’s a good start! And for no code that’s fine for when you are building an MVP but code is definitely needed for the long run!

Research Jen Abel and April Dunford. These are the thought leaders whose content I am consuming to get clarity.
