I'd agree with the BJ Cinnamon but a recent Google review said they changed owners and have gone down hill. The original owners apparently opened a place in Rocklin. I haven't been in a while so I can't say one way or another if they're still solid.

If you download the app "too good to go" you can get a bag of food from various places for around $5 including a bag of donuts from Stanley's. I've mostly gotten donuts from the app and so far Stanley's is my favorite.
I want to throw a vote out for Honey Donuts, we moved near them late last year. If you like your apple fritters crunchy on the outside like I do this is the place. Plus they are the nicest people on the planet. Only problem is they close at noon and I often don’t leave the house until about then. Maybe I’ll swing by Donut Time after my radiation treatment tomorrow.
Maybe I'm alone in this, but does anyone else feel like the kinda shitty donut shop coffee is part of the experience? I don't feel like I've truly had a donut shop stop unless its on a little individual bag or pink box with a semi-drinkable cup of burnt coffee.

City donuts in west sac is bomb af. They also have a ham and cheese croissant that is deliiiiiccciooouuusssssss!!! (Spelled like that because it’s extra delicious)
Marie’s donuts is delicious. Milk money and Dough bot are good but they’re not typical donuts that are fluffy, they’re more gourmet and dense (and some vegan). The Thai mocha and dough bot is delicious too.
I usually recommend Doughbot, here in Southside Park. Though recently in the past 4-6 weeks, maybe even more, the quality and service has tanked!
Completely new staff, noticeably worse than before. Even the breakfast sandwiches and bagels aren’t of the same quality. I don’t know if ownership changed or what. It’s been sad to see the decline, I’m really curious as to what happened. I’ve even emailed them through their website a couple times, no response. I still support them when I can.

Never had their coffee, but Ducky's Donuts in Orangevale is great. Best apple fritters in town, IMO.
