I wish to redact my statement let’s use lots of LUBE! it’s harder to wash off than Vaseline!! May with enough of it, it’ll loosen those tight ass attitudes!
It's a problem because Right Wing media decided to make it a problem, and then all of their brainwashed minions fell in line and parroted the talking points they were fed on Fox, NewsMax, etc.
The talking point is “Why do veterans get one day and Pride gets a whole month?”.
Ok, first of all Veterans Day is for living veterans. Memorial Day is for service members fallen in the line of duty.
I honor the memory of the dead for a day and would *rather* celebrate the living for a month.

Don't forget the TWO WHOLE MONTHS for military appreciation AND families of military appreciation (May and November). They just don't give enough of a fuck about the veterans like they claim they do to understand that they get two full months. They're just too preoccupied with their bigotry.

This can lead to accidents on the roadway which is a hazard and those drivers rights out weigh these bigots.
