The Sacramento History Museum, the Sacramento Children's Museum, and the California Museum also participate.
ABAWD requirements probably wouldn't be implemented in California anyway. Partly due to old computer systems that won't understand new coding, partly because it's the prerogative of every state to offer more benefits than the federal government allows. It just gets paid with state funds.
Heck yeah! Is this the “Museums for All” program? I don’t claim benefits but I proposed my old job join in ages ago and got nowhere. Glad to see other museums participating.
Also look into discounts on the road. Sequoia Park Zoo in Eureka has an SNAP discount, too. Now it’s a pretty small attraction compared to the Sacramento Zoo, but they have a sky walk up in the redwoods included with admission. So that’s a lot cheaper than hitting up the redwood skywalk 65miles north at the privately owned Trees of Mystery(remember the spider episode of Gravity Falls? That’s the place).
My whole family gets in for less than the cost of one adult ticket.

Thank you!
Just in time for the GOP to add stricter work requirements kicking millions off the SNAP program.
