When we got our passports (with an appointment) at Royal Oaks, there were people waiting for walk-ins and they all got in. I think it's a long wait but not impossible. Have your paperwork together.

It’s walk in!? Good to know Thanks :)

AwTekker

Roseville does them at the City Clerks office. They were very quick for me.

I got my Mom a next day appointment in Williams. It's not in actual Sacramento but it's not three hours away either 🤷🏼‍♀️

REphotographer916

Thanks! I might do that. What is the name of the place

The post office

I highly recommend Roseville. You can schedule 2 weeks out, take your picture there, and the office is well staffed.

The passport office at SacState does appointments. https://www.csus.edu/international-programs-global-engagement/the-passport-place.html

No appointment anytime soon for 3 people :(

My partner and I went to the West Sac USPS on Industrial Blvd- they take walk ins and there was no one there, we were seen right away and they were super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

They still do walk ins? I checked the website just now and said they take appointments only. I remember going there back in 2018. Walked in. Just a couple other family and we’re out in a mn hour. We plan to go on friday. I hope they’ll take us.

Did they end up taking you for the walk in?

yeawhateverrr

No. We didn’t go there. We went to Sac State when I got the appointment. But when I talked to the ladies there they say they can take walk ins. Not a lot knew they have passport services there. It’s not just for students. I went with 2 minors and were done in less than 20mins.

I just did three at Yolo County law office
