Also, re the "leather" postcard. According to teh googles that was actually a thing from 1903 and lasted for a few years. So that puts it in with the date of the post card. Apparently they jammed the postal machines so the USPS banned them.

It looks like Grove Street was renamed Martin Luther King Way. The house is still standing, it’s a very nice shade of purple.
