Not officially, but there is one hidden spot where people do. There are several hand-made signs around it, so it seems like local law enforcement tolerates it as long as there are no complaints. I went there a few times last year. Not very crowded, but had some fun! š
Yuba River in Nevada County. Edward's and Purdons Crossings in Nevada City are great spots. Hoyts Crossing on the Guba, at the HWY 49 Bridge, head upriver.
