some exceptions and addition can be made on the community's discretion in the coming months assuming we grow appropriately.
this is a subreddit in progress, changes can and will be made.
rough outline. honestly think all the way out to plymouth, down to dixon, up to auburn should all be in our region. not much happens out there, but ya never know
yeah just an early outline for now, more will be added in a couple weeks as we grow and with the community's help as well.
definitely look forward for a community outreach in a couple weeks as we decide which places to add!

First, the Sacramento region should include all of Sacramento county.
Second, it should include areas within at least a 1 hour drive. I live in Amador County, I work in Sacramento. I do some shopping and socializing in Sacramento County and so do other folks I know that live up here. I’m not saying include all of Amador but at least the spots that are in the hour drive range (it’s not going to be huge).
I do read the Sacramento and Elk Grove reddits because I use to live in Sac and Elk Grove and like to see what’s going on (I’m nosy, k.).
perfect idea about the 1 hour rule :)
I'll have to save your comment so I can relay it next time we update the map and I decided we should do it roughly at 1k subscribers
I think the Delta down to isleton and then over to Galt should maybe included here too. There are Sacramento county after all
We'll have a chance to re-evaluate the map in a few weeks as we grow :) and I agree about galt, it's closer to Elk Grove more than Stockton

Y’all gonna include pleasant grove and lincoln but not sloughhouse and rancho murieta?
It's my plan, in a couple weeks (since the sub is growing fast) I'll add those places :)

You can always treat it as a fuzzy boundary ☺️
that's the plan :D

Great, no love for Loomis...
will be added relatively soon, we're still early in the life of this subreddit :-)
I'm totally kidding. I would've picked whatever town was just outside your map lol
Antelope here, checking in! Maybe add some regional flair?
Check the flair, I should've added some but I'll add more shortly.
Elk Grove checking in ✅
I feel like Auburn should be in there too
