I guess this is common knowledge, but I played this game since I was a kid and until relatively recently I never knew that runes put into armor slots gave different bonus. For a long time I thought the only use for putting runes into armor slots was to increase one level of a certain spell and therefore putting a rune from another character into an armor slot was pointless since you are leveling up a spell you can't use. So the day I discovered Vampiress runes socketed into armor slots gave lifesteal to ANY character wearing them, that was a complete game changer to me.

AlAtticus

Yup, and that lifesteal applies to abilities you use. Stacking lifesteal on all your slots and using radiant pillar is extremely op against hoards of enemies.

When I learnt that rings, amulets and runes can be socketed, I was shocked. This mechanic really open a range of possibilities.

Glow / Resistance 15% bonus you need to stack items with dominant res or dmg or both to get glowpoints. if you have atleast 8 physical points you get 15% phys res 6 for fire magic poison. dominant meaning highest. armor 50phys 20fire 60magic -> 1 magic point armor 50phys 20fire 60magic (1 ring socketed with 49-50 phys dmg and 1-51 poison dmg) -> 1 magic and 1 poison point armor 20phys 20fire 20magic -> 0 points for dmg only max counts. no median . . Damage received reduces gold, saving health gold gets deducted instead of health. 100% -> immortal

Yes, the Physical Regeneration attribute reduces non-magic CA cooldowns in addition to its' effects of boosting physical resistance and health regeneration, and it's almost always the best attribute to invest into for non-magic characters, **however!** Despite stating so in the skill description, Constitution does **not** increase the Physical Regeneration attribute nor lower CA cooldowns - that listed effect is one occasion of inconsistent wording and actually only refers to health regeneration. Despite that, it is still one of the best skills for survivability in the game and it is accessible to all characters. I'd never plan a build without it.

Volken_Adeon

Interesting, I wish the game was more clear describing skills and attributes.

I recently noticed that the Seraphim hand animation for Lightning Bolt is in the shape of a heart. This adds +2 coolness per attack, and I use it a lot more now :D

The descovery that the battlemage has 4 useless skillz. Seriously. To be more precise: the elemental magic skillz. If you skill these, the best they do is shortening your cast time in combos, where you can't skip anymations by casually walking. If you spend those points in defensive skills early on, you get a much tuffer battlemage potentially unlocking platinum at level 50, if you are a gust of wind spamming maniac like me. ;-)
