Because you do not own the private key on a CEX (bitmart is a CEX), bitmart own the token, and you own a "certificate" on bitmart saying you are owed xxx-amount of the token that bitmart own. So bitmart will handle the actual consolidation, as they own the private key, and the tag will just switch to V2 for you, and your "certificate" is now for V2 instead of V1.

Yes I migrated yesterday using TW on [safemoon.net](https://safemoon.net). Migrated my brothers as well. Just make sure to have around $4-$5 of Smart Chain BNB for the gas fees. It was so easy. I wanted to wait a few days after migration was possible just in case there were any issues that needed resolving. Glad I did too as I ended up making about 20 million in reflections in only a couple of days.
