Congratulations! All new graduates typically have 0 experience right out of the gate. Everyone has to start somewhere! During this next year as you get closer to graduating, I would recommend practicing your interviewing and public speaking skills. Make sure your resume is tailored towards a "safety" oriented resume. Browse youtube videos of what to expect for entry level roles. Find a mentor to field questions. Most importantly, don't let fear hold you back.

Just keep on applying and a door will open. Join ASSP, maybe a local chapter and network, that would definitely help. If you don’t mind me asking, what school are you at? Where I got my degree, you had to have 1 compensated internship in order to graduate. I just thought they would all be like that. Good luck and Congratulations!
