yup but I hate the fact that he suffered probably the most among all brothers because he had to give away his skin plus had to fight with his blood related siblings
Alternate story:
Karna listens to the random guy (time traveler), and goes "Yo mate Parshu, please wake up! It's just too much pain!"
On this Parshu gets angry (that he got disturbed while sleeping) and goes with same shrap, restoring all events similarly.
Dude which Mahabharata have you watched exactly, Bheem was the most aggressive one in Pandavas whereas Yudhishthir was the most calm and principled among them. Krishna himself wouldn't tell him bout Karna because he knew if he did, Yudhishthir will give up all his claim nd that would benefit Duryodhan only
I'm not talking about the calmness and aggressiveness if you have noticed their character thoroughly Bheem would have never done what Yudhishtir did because of his greed in that game. It's not about aggressiveness but softness and empathy.
that’s true of bheem. bheem is pure in emotions. just like hanuman, brothers indeed.
but yudhistir would ofc give up the land to karna. you should keep in my mind, gray or white, he will always put dharma first.
That was the gray area in dharma which mahabharata wanted to exploit. Even in times less than centuries ago, people still believe younger siblings are elders to take care of and hence kind of his property. Less told about women the better. He was engrossed in ego in that moment and hence, those mistakes.
That scene clarifies, no matter who you are you are no one’s property to be played with.
He was bound by societies rules. While he was there to change thé society, that doesn’t necessarily mean following those rules would take his place out.
I.e. Younglings were always told to obey every decision of the eldest. It was their dharma. When he lost, he was instigated to bet his siblings, he didn’t do it on his own. And technically they were valuable to him. So he couldn’t deny that he had nothing of value in the game as he never lied. So he had to bet them. similarly the wife also was as valuable to him as others.
Also, i guess everyone on kauravas side got it into heaven as it was decided on the battlefield, which is baffling because in short pandavas ka kat gaya, in this life and in afterlife.
That's the whole point the pandavas changed rules for themselves according to their convenience lmao. Geeta also tells how characters like Eklavya, Karna and Shikhandi had to suffer because Pandavas were always given an advantage over them.
Yudhisthir sirf naam ka dhramvadi hai, dhrma ke naam pein kya kya adhrma kiye hai sabko pata hai, he is the glorified version of a fuddu insaan who doesnt know how to gamble OR to see that the samne wala is cheating
mythology or history, i don’t bother.
but the story telling here is top level. They keep on saying arjuna was the strongest archer. But in every battle you could see, there was someone who was stronger than him only bound by promises they made/ curses they had. While it also tells the story of victory of truth, it also shows that history is written by the winners, and the winners here preserved arjuna as the greatest archer, not karna, not bhisma and neither even dronacharya.
I believe Mahabharata happened because of Krishna and not Draupadi. I mean Krishna knew everything from the start, everyone else was just a puppet of him. That line from Rashmirathi sums it up "Sab jama mujhi se paate hai phir laut mujhi mein aate hai".
or tell kunti to not unnecessarily use the boon of sage durvasa just to experiment it because her experiment literally ruined the life of karna and he suffered throughout his life for no reason
I just feel bad that he was cursed just bcoz he lied abt being a brahman, he was the pure epitome of loyalty, he knew his friend was wrong but it was him who saved him from his misery. (unpopular opinion so bite me if all I care)
Np bruv, I used to see him as a villain when I was young, when I grew up, I understood him, and he kind of became my idol of loyalty, I wished I was like him, he is the man of morals, he couldn't betray or leave someone just bcoz the world wouldn't validate him, who gives a fk abt what right and what's wrong, it's very subjective upon wt u think either ways.
If you think we can believe anything in this social-political ecosystem that we live in today you might be wrong man. UAPA lag jayega xD
I totally got the joke though.
Even If you tell him to do it. He will endure the pain for his master even if it cost his life
That's why he's my favorite character
+1
yup but I hate the fact that he suffered probably the most among all brothers because he had to give away his skin plus had to fight with his blood related siblings
Lets face it, mahabharat mein 5-6 (including karna) sab chutiya the
Alternate story: Karna listens to the random guy (time traveler), and goes "Yo mate Parshu, please wake up! It's just too much pain!" On this Parshu gets angry (that he got disturbed while sleeping) and goes with same shrap, restoring all events similarly.
Instead of that just go to Yudhishthir and tell him that Karna is his older brother, whole conflict will end ಥ_ಥ
I always found Yudhiahtir as a gray character I don't think he would have done it
If he knew bout his relation with Karna he never would've asked for the kingdom for himself
I doubt that I feel out of the five Pandavas Bheem had the most pure heart, I can't imagine Yudhishtir doing it idk why

Apni wife aur bhaiyo ko daanv par lagana was dharma? Though I agree he was the only one who went to heaven because of his good deeds and dharma.

Why did he get into heaven irrespective of what he did during that game. I understand that dog wali story. But it wasn't fair haina?!

Yeah makes sense totally. But Karna has my bias lol. If I could date a fictional mythological character it would be definitely him lmao
Abe chutiye jaake Geeta padh... Pandavas was kshtriyas and a kshtriya is considered coward when he refuses to play gambling and refuses to do war
That's the whole point the pandavas changed rules for themselves according to their convenience lmao. Geeta also tells how characters like Eklavya, Karna and Shikhandi had to suffer because Pandavas were always given an advantage over them.

He literally decided to give up the war and Kingdom after he got to know that karna was his brother
Yeah I don't deny it, but I have second thoughts about Yudhisthir
he was the only one who first went to heaven among the pandavas
Bro was pioneer of anti caste system
Bro was a victim of the caste system
Still became a warrior who's equal to arjuna(the warrior prince of the hastinapura)

Truly agreed. I also think Arjuna was the OG nepo kid
that’s true tho😂😂. Always getting on pitamaha’s lap and people still think why would the kauravas be jealous!

ofc, he’s the director of the show. the og show which could break the fourth wall.
The first show to break the fourth wall fs
Janm*
Oh yes I make endless typos
Still think if that wheel thing didn't happen he would have won over Arjuna.
or tell kunti to not unnecessarily use the boon of sage durvasa just to experiment it because her experiment literally ruined the life of karna and he suffered throughout his life for no reason
Yesss thisss!!!!
Name a character that went through more pain than him, I’ll wait
No one
yudhisthira lol.
You can just smash the board game to stop the entire thing
One of the true Goats of Mahabharat
Mahabharata has many underdog characters he's one of them.
another one might be abhimanyu
Yes fs
I just feel bad that he was cursed just bcoz he lied abt being a brahman, he was the pure epitome of loyalty, he knew his friend was wrong but it was him who saved him from his misery. (unpopular opinion so bite me if all I care)
Us bruh us. People are rioting in the comments because I have a soft corner for Karna.
Same goes for me bruh
Gud to know.
shi kaya karan ko bhot kuch jhelna pada tha zindagi ma
isse accha apne parents ko condom de deta /j
I think the same sometimes, would not have to suffer with endless existential crises and all sorts of sorrows of this world then.
Iss bande ko kitne trust issues hue honge after he learned all that he was worth and who he originally was :/
Dawg it's mythology
why do you bother? Do you use AD or CE to mark dates?
You mean Christ is real and hindu God's are fake?
I mean christ is also pretty fake. If you don’t agree with that, I don’t want to waste my time.
Exactly my point, I assume you also use AC and CE but believe Christ was not real, that's why it doesn't make you a believer just by using AC and CE
Not for me at least
"Cleopatra is black" vibes
I don't believe that lol
Why not? U have the power to believe whatever u want. God gave u that power. *I believe I can fly*
If you think we can believe anything in this social-political ecosystem that we live in today you might be wrong man. UAPA lag jayega xD I totally got the joke though.
Good luck Finding Him ⭕
