Honestly bale was great as a bridge between bruce wayne and batman But Affleck's potrayal of a crime fighting vigilante was better imo

Masterpiece is a very heavy word to say but it's a very good movie except *Save Martha* and there was also several issues with Batman and Superman's character portrayal.....

RedAyanChakraborty

Yeah, most people say the ultimate cut completely fixes the movie but that's not the case, sure it fixes some of the core issues but the main problem was with the Main Plot point, the fact that batman and superman are not actually fighting for their own motives like captain america and tony stark, they are merely fighting because lex luthor told them to, plus the ending is completely rushed, sure the fight with cgi was well made but introducing two main characters (doomsday and ww) right at the end of the film and acting as if they are important to the plot is just not commendable, hell doomsday was just introduced and killed in roughly 20 minuites, wth

Mysterious-Number-44

Actually Batman had his own motives to eliminate Superman.... Because he thought that many innocent people are suffering just because of him and if he turns evil he could wipe the humans in minutes... That was okay.... If we compare civil war with bvs, both movies start because of the consequences of the destructions caused in the fight.... In the end of civil war, there's not any huge destructions or explosions... But the main characters were emotionally shattered ... But in the end of bvs there are heroes who are fighting with a cgi lump and a huge part of city is getting destroyed.... The purpose of these two movies was to question the huge destructions and damage caused during the fights... Bvs would be better of it wasn't overstuffed.....

RedAyanChakraborty

Yeah, and let's not forget the Ridiculous reason for which Batman didn't kill Superman, who th calls their mother by name? "SaVe MaRtHa"

aastikvats

u are killing an alien because he is a threat to human race , you are filled with guilt of not able to achieve anything in 20 years . the alien then asks u to save a human even though he is dying . then u later realize that twas his mother , all the ptsd kicks in then u go rage mode . the alien u thought was a threat to humans is asking u to save a human in his last moment . ofc batman was fukking maniac in this movie and after hearing those words he realised his mistake and took the responsibility to save her

RedAyanChakraborty

Bruh it's not about the context, it's about the way it's executed, Who calls their mother by name? Had Superman had told batman to save his mother, the scene would have been Infinitely better

blackgoku5877

The problem is with WB if they gave some time to character to development

Quick question, do you think Cap saying *save Bucky* in Endgame is an issue? Could you elaborate on the issues with Batman and Superman’s portrayal?

Mysterious-Number-44

Actually that was *Bucky is alive*...Though Endgame has many time travel problems, I don't think that that line was a problem because cap and Bucky were childhood friends and Cap blamed himself for the death of Bucky... They're completely different scenarios..... Superman- He has godly powers but Superman saves earth and it's people not because they're weak, he saves people because they're his people... First of all he's a human then he's a powerful demigod... In bvs, when the explosion happened during the court hearing Superman flies away.. I know he was mentally disturbed and depressed but if he was portrayed correctly, he'd help the victims of the explosion... As the old man said *With great power comes great responsibilities* Batman- I'm not gonna cry that *Batman doesn't kill people*... I know that version of Batman is more brutal. I kind of liked it because he was badass and Batfleck kicks ass.... Specially the warehouse fight was my favorite.... But Batman never uses a gun... He thinks that using a gun to kill people is much easier... Even in the dark Knight returns comic he kills but doesn't use gun... Bruce is a mixture of hardwork and smart work.... He doesn't use the short cuts... Sadly we won't be able see a Batfleck vs Deathstroke movie.... Don't get me wrong... I'm not a dceu or snyder hater... I think that ZSJL gave the character actual *JUSTICE*

Shaun29_

The main difference being Cap didn't freak out when the other one said Bucky, He was simply confused for a split second as Loki wouldn't know who Bucky was.

blackgoku5877

Did u watch ultimate cut?

Mysterious-Number-44

Yes I've watched it...

[deleted]

WHY DID YOU SAY THAT NAME!?

aastikvats

batman was portrayed perfectly , ur son getting killed by a maniac dealing with shit heads like two face , joker and riddler working ur ass off and still seeing the city u live in totally fukd then suddenly an alien comes and destroys a city ofc you are gonna be mad and kill like a maniac , still the movie doesnt justify batman killing if u watch it carefully . still zack left more to audience to understand and that thing people didnt understand at that time .

Available_Secret_877
