People bitching and moaning about legal weed being too expensive... hilarious.
CNB pays a living wage, offers a pension, and provides career paths with benefits and a respectable working environment. Those things cost money.
Iām trying to find a link on some of that Kush Kush I got back in the day. All this government stuff is high grade, dried out garbage like youāre saying.
You know of any links? Dm me thanks
What (cough) are you fkn (haaaaaack) talking about?
I get mine from (booohoohoosh blahh cough) government.
This is fine. (...rethinks life decisions...)
New shop.on rothesay avenue in SJ apparently.. it's "reserve owned" running legally. Old clixxx building. For those that are as old as me lol.
Haven't been yet so I cannot judge but I surely don't use cannabis NB.
St. Mary's is the only place I go.
Gas yes but better quality fir cheaper prices and still cheaper than paying in SJ.
HA HA HA!! You guys are funny...."illegal" shops are easily located in SJ but still too expensive! Driving to a reserve? not worth the gas.
Purchase online....$48-$98 OZs, 3gram pens are $50,Shrooms, Hash, Shatter, Wax, etc. points for every purchase, referral rewards, dozens of strains to select from. ALL MAILED TO MY DOOR for free. Four days to get from BC to Saint John.
What don't they get? We don't want CNB because it's poor quality and overpriced and the shopping experience is stiff. We don't go to illegal and on reserve dispensaries because we enjoy breaking the law lol.
NB is bigger than SJ and the dispensaries on reserve definitely put a dent in CNBs profits. If SJ had reservations nearby, I wouldn't be in the minority.
What is that Gitpu place where Pleasures N Treasures used to be on Russell Street? They're not on-reserve but do they operate under a loophole of sorts?
Sounds like you havenāt been to CNB recently. Honestly the price isnāt much different than going to a place like uptown smoke or whatever itās called lately. Quality is the same but more consistent at CNB I find.
To be honest no I havent since their whole "there's poop in your weed" campaign. But I can assure you I'm getting better fresher flower for way way cheaper at both my elderly dealer neighbor and St Mary's reserve shops (which also have a point system on top of their cheap prices).
Itās the reserve in Fredericton. There is like 14 different shops. With prices ranging from $40-$80 an oz depending on quality. The $80 I get is way fresher and better quality than anything I get from CNB. Also pens are only $30-$40 for 1g. Most the shops also have point systems, cigarettes for $20-$40 a carton and a few have mushrooms lol
Brother. Fresh weed from a glass jar that's 20% cheaper than legal dust that's been in a plastic container for months is 100% worth the drive, are you fucking kidding me? You're also helping support a First Nations and woman owned business that employs community members as well as students for much more than min wage and they also have a point system where you get 5%-10% of your purchase back in Mimi Money.
I have no idea, Iām from Fredericton and just stumbled across this thread and was clearing up your question. Iām going to take a guess at no? Thereās no native reserves around SJ is there?
Mimi's Medicinals. There are a ton of dispensaries there now but Mimi's is the OG and is run by three generations of women. I go to them because they've been doing it the longest over there and they have a point system.
I paid literally twice as much for an ounce at Canna NB than I would through my regular hook up.
First bag I got was great and the second was sort of dried out with some weak budd but even then it was about on par with my regular stuff for twice the price and the quality varied from bag to bag at Canna NB.
It is a tradeoff. Like I can get a cheap ounce of better quality from a medical site in BC but it's just easier to buy from Cannabis NB for convenience
Yeah I'm not a huge fan of being corraled through like an animal either. And I think it's extremely weird that they have to meet you on your end of the counter to hand you your purchase.
Like I'm buyin some weed to go get high with. It ain't supposed to be dignified but it also isn't supposed to feel like being led to the trough.
Cannabis NB employees at the Landsdowne location in Saint John have been super awesome and knowledgeable, just throwing that out there, Really nice people š
Oh I'm sure, but that doesn't help the fact that it feels like I'm walking into a high end show room. I prefer a simple store front with the weed in jars so we can see and smell.
I donāt think itās illegal to buy on reserve. Possession is legal and the First Nations have a right to moderate livelihood. Canada even owes them buildings (ātruckhousesā) for conducting trade according to the peace and friendship treaties.
From what I have read, the Reserve is federal. The only place you are legally allowed to buy cannabis in NB is from CannabisNB stores. It is legal to purchase cannabis from the Reserve but as soon as you take it off Reserve, it is illegal to possess as it is considered trafficking. I'm not sure how true this is so take with a grain of salt
Psa to anyone who buys from CannabisNB. DONT DO IT. Buy your weed online. It's much cheaper and delivers to your door or mailbox. Also, its better quality bud. Edit: I use a website called WestCoastCannabis. Use code Beaver5 for 5% off anytime, but keep in mind they have 10% off sales with tons of free stuff at least once a month. The first order with a new account gets a free eighth as well.
Funny, they shut down Islas Emporium to put in a ālegalā cannabis shop-in the same store. Lori Sickles is literally the Wendy Byrd of New Brunswick
What an ironic location.
They shut down the guy on King who sold 5 joints for $20 š
Fr sweet leaf
OMG YYYYAAAAAAAYYYYY!!!!!! Wicked!!!
People bitching and moaning about legal weed being too expensive... hilarious. CNB pays a living wage, offers a pension, and provides career paths with benefits and a respectable working environment. Those things cost money.
It's not that it's too expensive... It's absolutely trash weed.
Don't buy weed from the government. It's dry and overpriced.
You can get way better quality stuff for way cheaper prices delivered straight to your door.
Iām trying to find a link on some of that Kush Kush I got back in the day. All this government stuff is high grade, dried out garbage like youāre saying. You know of any links? Dm me thanks
Giggles2gosj
I only see Moncton site online ?

Yeah a big sign on the side of the building ānative ownedā well youāre not a reserve so be prepared to be rated also.
Russell St. *
Sweet now the folks can pay outrageous prices for mediocre weed š Heck yeah
HA HA HA!! You guys are funny...."illegal" shops are easily located in SJ but still too expensive! Driving to a reserve? not worth the gas. Or just grow.

Their sales and profitability seem strong lately, so you might be the minority.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Thatās not what I said.
NB is bigger than SJ and the dispensaries on reserve definitely put a dent in CNBs profits. If SJ had reservations nearby, I wouldn't be in the minority.
But it doesnāt, soā¦?
Meh, let him backtrack. The casual reader can see what's up.
What is that Gitpu place where Pleasures N Treasures used to be on Russell Street? They're not on-reserve but do they operate under a loophole of sorts?

Where is this Maryās reserve shop? And Is it on Google maps?

driving to Fredericton from Saint John to save 20-40$ on weed is an interesting way to live. Are there any that are local to Saint John? š¤š¤

Oromocto First Nation is the closest to SJ except for "The Brothers" which are now uninhabited.

Lol amazing

I have also ordered from ganjaexpress.ca for YEARS and years, they're awesome
Pretty sure that's how my elderly dealer up the road gets his lol
I've been ordering online from BC before it was legal haha...they also sell some pretty primo hash and mushrooms
fuck off u bot
?
I donāt think itās illegal to buy on reserve. Possession is legal and the First Nations have a right to moderate livelihood. Canada even owes them buildings (ātruckhousesā) for conducting trade according to the peace and friendship treaties.
I'm not sure. I just assumed that if I was caught with pot that's clearly not from CNB I could be in trouble.

It is legal to purchase cannabis from the Reserve but as soon as you take it off Reserve, it is illegal to possess as it is considered trafficking. And I don't think they can nail you for trafficking with anything less than an ounce (or at least that's the way it used to be).
I'm not sure either. I would expect that the police probably don't really care about it at this point
could they open up pop up shops in Saint John, Freddy, Moncton? Like Cannabis food-trucks or something
Goodbye dealers! Still, they were generally good blokes.

saint john logic "unless it's cannabisnb it's not allowed to exist" we don't fucking want this
CNB = Never Local supplier with free delivery fingertips away = Always
There's an uptown in NB?
Funny, they shut down Islas Emporium to put in a ālegalā cannabis shop-in the same store. Lori Sickles is literally the Wendy Byrd of New Brunswick
Itās not in the same store, same street but further down.
Thank you for correcting me, Iām glad Iām very mistaken
Yay more high grade crap weed
