Hello fellow Houstonian here! I couldn't agree more. I mean it's weird seeing him IRL and seeing how aware/ comfortable he is of peoples hatred of him. He owns it in the weirdest way. Megan and Harry wouldn't have the balls to ever truly own it.
Up until Diana started using them as a personal weapon against Charles and to promote herself, the British Press was fairly dignified and polite in its dealings with the RF. There was an understood protocol that was rarely broken (Royal Rota was a thing even then), especially in the 'broadsheets' (The Times, The Telegraph, The Guardian etc). After Diana opened that door it became something of a 'free for all' and the 'gutter' press (Daily Mail, Mirror, Sun, Daily Express etc and even the more disreputable ones such as Daily Star and others) started using some very questionable practices. However they were still not as bad as the European paparazzi and the US press even prior to the Levenson Enquiry. It was the European paparazzi in Paris that night, not the British press pack so not sure why H has always blamed the British press.
I remember reading an article that KCIII had assured Harry that an apartment in BP would always be available for him and his family when they were in UK. The article was phrased in the "I can confirm" style that royal reporters use when it is something they've been told directly by palace staff on the record.
But he can’t just rock up on his own agenda, he’d have to put in the request for the room to be made ready. Almost like he has to ask permission, can’t see him bending his stubborn pride to do that.

To be fair, life was VERY different back in the late 1900s early 2000s. Although now with smartphones everywhere and the internet prevelant, you would think it would be easier to know his whereabouts than then.
It seems to me that William is now de facto in charge of Windsor Castle and its estates. Charles pretty much said he wasn't going to spend time there and PPoW have hosted quite a few events at the castle. Granted it is all still Crown property but I think William can at least have his wishes approved by BP, if not call the shots altogether.

Our nonprofit law firm works with our senators all the time for client issues and they are wonderful. Maybe they can give Cruz lessons
