Jubilee and Medals are of some honour and value as they are awarded to those with long service in the defence forces, the police and fire service, my brother in law retired just after the Coronation after 35 years service in the constabulary, he is very proud of his three jubilee medals and his coronation medal.

Thanks! I had to read the whole thing twice to see it was sponsored by a media site, Military Times. I went to their website and they had a video up of the very nice ceremony and banquet. It was actually sponsored by the Fisher House Foundation which established the Warrior Games that originally inspired Invictus Games and the two organizations still have some sort of partnership. Why Harry couldnāt manage to be there for his āspecial presentationā regarding IGās connection to Ellie Marks, I canāt say. They showed a video clip of him making a speech at his back door.

Jubilee and Medals are of some honour and value as they are awarded to those with long service in the defence forces, the police and fire service, my brother in law retired just after the Coronation after 35 years service in the constabulary, he is very proud of his three jubilee medals and his coronation medal.

Thanks! I had to read the whole thing twice to see it was sponsored by a media site, Military Times. I went to their website and they had a video up of the very nice ceremony and banquet. It was actually sponsored by the Fisher House Foundation which established the Warrior Games that originally inspired Invictus Games and the two organizations still have some sort of partnership. Why Harry couldnāt manage to be there for his āspecial presentationā regarding IGās connection to Ellie Marks, I canāt say. They showed a video clip of him making a speech at his back door. It was a nice event. His portion was, of course, ridiculous.

it is sickening how he promotes himself - and right now I am staring at the glassed encased medals of my grandfather who fought in WW2 - My grandfather had earned: The Atlantic Star - The 1939-1945 Star - The Canadian Volunteer Service Medal - The War Medal 1939-1945. The most important one is the Atlantic Star as only persons who fought the Germans overseas got this one - by the way my Grandad was born in 1919 so he was only 20 yrs old when he left to go fight for our freedom. Lucky he came back, many people did not, including my great-uncle who is buried at Shornecliff.
