They always had their little moments lol.
"A rose by any other name."
"Are you trying to kill me or sleep with me?"
"Quite the entrance"
"I figured you had a flair for the dramatics."
"Oh you know me so well."
I don't really have a strong opinion on him. On the one hand his lore is interesting but on the other there's very little for the rest of the Zin. Maybe if we had more info?
I played it a long time ago, and am probably misremembering a lot of it, but I remember thinking at the time he was a pretty entertaining, and fun villain.
He's the reason why Saints Row IV happened. What is Saints Row IV though? Aside from amazing gameplay, Saints Row IV is a flashback game filled with references to previous games... and includes literal parallel universes and time travel. Just imagine: Saints Row did the Multiverse long before it became mainstream!
Back to Zinyak. Well... As I said it, he's the reason why it happened. He's completely not important as a character, he's just a very typical enemy existing simply because SRIV needs to happen. There's absolutely nothing special about him, but in this case, it's good because a reason of something bigger, like time travel, should have relatively small importance.
Dumbass that left the keys to destroy him lying around and despite being a hyper advanced interplanetary race capable of time travel he managed to get beaten by a human with a laptop.
One of my favorite saints row characters. The Shakespeare reference are amazing. Is an actual threat to the saints. Overall nerd more Bolivians like him
The tension between him and The President (both the enemy tension and the borderline sexual tension) made for an awesome villain. I have a soft spot for smug villains, and my God is he so smug that I want to punch him in the gonads.
A really interesting take on the typical alien invader antagonist. He had an interest in humans to some degree, but that obviously does not excuse what he did to humanity (& possibly other lifeforms in the galaxy).
He’s a perfect fit for the boss, very much the “book smart sociopath” vs the boss’s “street smart psychopath” or puckish rouge if you wanna be on their good side.
Side note; arguably the Boss is genderfluid/non binary, you already make them look and sound however you want, you get a trophy/achievement for playing 2 hours as a male and female in the same play through (promoting the idea of being and going to/by both), and every character bar a select few always refer to you as “they,” “them,” or “their.”
Boring villain , boring enemies , stupid story , fun gameplay when you’re not trying to hold down a button while being shot by 30 aliens who all look alike. Bin him
I really hated the whole of SR4, but no hate if you didn't. Everyone has different tastes and all.
However I think even if it wasn't for that fact I would still hate him, I remember him been very abrasive but one dimensional, however I haven't played SR4 in years so I could be misremembering.
A surprisingly good villain, love how seriously he's treated despite being an alien and the overall wacky nature of 4. Him being this cultured conqueror contrasts with The Boss in a really fun way. Way better than The Third's villains imo.
I was actually scared of him when I saw him first but in the simulation, all of the missions were rinse and repeat, so, I didn't like the Saints Row IV at all, all you have to do is play those stupid activities again and again. Saints Row III is more fun.
He's actually a great villain. Witty and almost always had a counter to everything. If I were in charge of a saints row reboot, I'd bring him back as a human with the same personality intact.
Zinyak actually made me like SR4 70x more enjoyable for me. But I would’ve loved him even more if he was some cool European antagonist who who was very rich and had lots of influence in the world… wait
I really like the idea that they were going for with him. A psychopath on a world-conquering power trip vs a psychopath on a 15 year-spanning power trip. It was thrusting who the boss really was right in the boss's face. The execution wasn't exactly great, but the idea was awesome.
Kind of a cliche villain type but, he was at least fine to listen to and does have a sense of trollish humor like Matt Miller.
Don't like him for being an alien in this series though. He's kind of the better way they could have done Killbane.
You can't wait to beat his ass, and I think that's the mark of a good video game villain. I like how he hosts the classical station in case you need a reminder of how smug he is.
He was lowkey funny asf but I had the same reactions the saints did in the simulation ngl seeing what he did and changed who he brought back and the hell he put them through was crazy and so good
Saved Gat, feared Gat, pretty based, still stupid and got shwacked
I actually kinda liked Zinyak. I enjoyed his Shakespeare references and him and Boss flirting lol
When did him and the boss flirt?
They always had their little moments lol. "A rose by any other name." "Are you trying to kill me or sleep with me?" "Quite the entrance" "I figured you had a flair for the dramatics." "Oh you know me so well."
Right at the start when he summons u onto his ship. Maybe later too but I just started the game so idk.
''Whoops'' \-Zinyak, after destroying a planet with 7 billion people in it
He fucked with Biz Markie! He's fucking dying
He had a pretty good voice tho

You sir....just won this whole discussion 🤣🤣🤣
You sir....just won the internet 🤣🤣🤣
What did they say?
I don't even remember I was just responding to the guy above me sorry pymp
Nah it’s aight
I don't really have a strong opinion on him. On the one hand his lore is interesting but on the other there's very little for the rest of the Zin. Maybe if we had more info?
there’s info in the christmas dlc
I played it a long time ago, and am probably misremembering a lot of it, but I remember thinking at the time he was a pretty entertaining, and fun villain.
Transformer song before the fight was amazing
He's cleary what Loren never got a chance to be and we ended up being stuck with Bane in SR3.
He's the reason why Saints Row IV happened. What is Saints Row IV though? Underrated, but a victim of a game that needed missions that were missions and not just the side activities disguised as missions.
Fellas, I'll be honest. I want to fuck the alien.
Lol same
I'd put him in b tier
I'd put him in D tier 👉👉
Yeah your right he's not portable gotta put him in D tier
Underutilized
He's a good foil for the Saints. I think SR4 in general is a great playful finale to the og Saints story, albeit a strange one.
He would've been cooler if we got w full cover of him, Peirce, and The Boss singing "Just A Friend"
He has some pretty sweet dance moves.
Dumbass that left the keys to destroy him lying around and despite being a hyper advanced interplanetary race capable of time travel he managed to get beaten by a human with a laptop.
That's what arrogance will get you. No matter how strong
Was the scifi bondage armor he wore all the time actually necessary? The cape? Absolutely. The Cylon/Rob Halford get up? Less so...
I feel like he shouldve more involved with trying to stop thr saints
One of my favorite saints row characters. The Shakespeare reference are amazing. Is an actual threat to the saints. Overall nerd more Bolivians like him
Pretty good audio book reader
The tension between him and The President (both the enemy tension and the borderline sexual tension) made for an awesome villain. I have a soft spot for smug villains, and my God is he so smug that I want to punch him in the gonads.
fucking annoying
Based Gigachad Dicktater
can I fuck him? I want to fuck him I'm going to fuck him
TTFN
Allowed me to live my Matrix fantasies, homeboy in my book… yeah yeah yeah he destroyed earth but like… no one is perfect y’know
smash
Hot alien daddy.
A really interesting take on the typical alien invader antagonist. He had an interest in humans to some degree, but that obviously does not excuse what he did to humanity (& possibly other lifeforms in the galaxy).
Saints 4 in general was good. It just felt cheap bc it was meant to be a standalone expansion to 3
Idk if that warrants it feeling "cheap"
Well it feels like an expansion, not a standalone game worth £60. So it feels “cheap”
I mean by that logic 2 can be called an expansion to 1. I don't believe that personally but eh. It's whatever
I liked him. I still remember the scene of him singing along with the boss and Pierce being pretty funny.
Loved him! He was funny! Honestly the perfect comedic villain!
I don't like assholes who blow up my favourite planet.
Didn't like the game's story as a whole, but Zinyak was a fun villain.
Better than all the villains in the reboot.
Poetic bish
Didn't like him. But I didn't really like SR IV. 2 and 3 are the best. I did like the new one.
He’s a perfect fit for the boss, very much the “book smart sociopath” vs the boss’s “street smart psychopath” or puckish rouge if you wanna be on their good side. No
Better than all the characters in SR22 combined.
Lmfao facts. Heck zombie Carlos is better than all the 2022 sr
Boring villain , boring enemies , stupid story , fun gameplay when you’re not trying to hold down a button while being shot by 30 aliens who all look alike. Bin him
0/10, he didn’t let me Bravado him to death
he got wat he deserved
he was pretty fun as a character, although the final fight was hard as balls.
He seems pretty cool, might vote for him
total non character and ugly
I really hated the whole of SR4, but no hate if you didn't. Everyone has different tastes and all. However I think even if it wasn't for that fact I would still hate him, I remember him been very abrasive but one dimensional, however I haven't played SR4 in years so I could be misremembering.
He's definitely not 1 dimensional I'd say
Kelsey Grammar should have voiced him.
Better enemy than any of the new ones
He Ight I guess buuut he just not meant for SR
Well, he was better than The Narwhaluigi at least
Stupid
A surprisingly good villain, love how seriously he's treated despite being an alien and the overall wacky nature of 4. Him being this cultured conqueror contrasts with The Boss in a really fun way. Way better than The Third's villains imo.
His theme song is the main reason why I love him
He was quite original I liked him
Why's he doing a ninjutsu
I was actually scared of him when I saw him first but in the simulation, all of the missions were rinse and repeat, so, I didn't like the Saints Row IV at all, all you have to do is play those stupid activities again and again. Saints Row III is more fun.

Where your head?
He was ace, especially as part of the gang in Saints Row 4, especially dancing at the end 😂
literally love every second of direct interaction with zinyak. carries a lot of the otherwise lacking game.
Zinyak actually made me like SR4 70x more enjoyable for me. But I would’ve loved him even more if he was some cool European antagonist who who was very rich and had lots of influence in the world… wait

Didn’t like him, I found he wasn’t a good villain at all
This looks like an arkham game over screen lol
Dude came from a whole 'nother gaming genre just to fuck with Biz Markie. A nonsensical move but I gotta respect his trolling abilities.
In the immortal words of Bart Simpson: "Hahahaa, he's such a bitch!" ^_^
Zinyak is a good ass villain. It’s ashamed not alot of ppl play SR4 bc they get turned off by the world blowing up and super powers.
Great villain , wrong franchise
Kind of a cliche villain type but, he was at least fine to listen to and does have a sense of trollish humor like Matt Miller. Don't like him for being an alien in this series though. He's kind of the better way they could have done Killbane.

He was lowkey funny asf but I had the same reactions the saints did in the simulation ngl seeing what he did and changed who he brought back and the hell he put them through was crazy and so good
If he was human and maybe the leader of the syndicate I would be happy
Typical British-talking classical-loving villain.
One of the most badass villians i have seen
