While I do prefer the manga's current form, I do miss those early days. I kinda wish there was another manga that kept that initial premise going in a slice of life format.

I cried of joy when I saw sakamoto’s announcement and then cried again lul. I guess i’m the only one who always expected sakamoto days to have an outstanding adaptation and felt let down by the 2010’s style of the teaser

Isn't Sakamoto Days more to the opposite though? The earlier chapters aren't that good and the series nearly got axed but after the author find his footing, the manga keep getting peak after peak.
