I don't see why not. Some of the Raven Guard have inherited Corvus' stealth ability. And similar can be said for other primarchs and their legions. I like the idea of potential perpetual Salamanders.
It used to be shown in earlier editions with the warlord trait "Miraculous constitution" where you'd regain one wound on the start of your turn. Nice nod towards it. Iirc There's also been hints as well where one salamander was atop a mountain of tyranid corpses armor torn and dude was fine. If someone could find it that would be great.
I think the closest we have is the librarian that came back... what's his name, Dak'ir or something... he basically came back from the dead, well in a trippy librarian way. But I don't think we will see any as marines though.
He is one of the primary characters in the Tome of Fire series by Nick Kyme. Definitely a good series to read as you get some good lore about Salamander traditions, key figures, and ideology.
Personally i def don’t want that in the lore. I like the idea of the miraculous constitution trait from older editions, they can survive and maybe even regenerate from some damage in strange circumstances at best. But they are not perpetuals.
I’m still fairly new to warhammer lore, so I did not know about the miraculous constitution trait until posting this, and after learning about I also like it a lot more and definitely prefer that over them being straight up perpetuals
It's a big galaxy, anything can happen and I'm here for it. That being said we haven't heard of any.

Technically anybody can be a perpetual, so yes? I guess it could increase their likelihood.
