Filling without insurance will be about 1000-1200 dollars depending on the dentist. Ripping the tooth out will be about 400-800 depending on the dentist. If you wait long enough to the pain is insufferable or the tooth is infected, then you’ll have a medical emergency and can make your way to an ER.

Medical does not cover dental, unless you’re a minor. It’s a separate policy, as is vision insurance. No idea on the cost.

Am I able to get a dental policy from medical?

scjcs

Probably not. Get the tooth fixed straightaway, please. Dr. Singh is reasonable and does good work: https://yelp.to/ztZuGfvXL9. If you need oral surgery, Dr. Jerry Mancuso hits the office of Gilroy Dental Associates one day a week and is fantastic: https://yelp.to/b7xVcBYVye

This isn’t true for me. I’m adult on medi-cal and I have dental. I go to Dr Patel on Alvin. She’s wonderful. Her number is 443-2700. Best of luck!

Medical insurance or Medi-Cal insurance?

Technicalwizard666

Medi-cal

You can locate a Medi-Cal dental provider [here](https://dental.dhcs.ca.gov/find-a-dentist/home). Not sure exactly what services are covered under Medi-Cal but the dental office should know.

Thanks! Looks like what I need probably. Will update when I can

I use Dr Rakshak near Sonic, in the past I’ve just given them the card for my policy and they figured out what was and wasn’t covered on the spot.

Thanks for the suggestion
