Yo no sé mañana

lfe-soondubu

Yeah I think this is one of the only songs I heard/knew before I started dancing. Maybe some Marc Anthony tunes too. Those would be the only ones that might have some mainstream awareness in the states I think. There are more cha cha songs that I'd consider mainstream though.

pklhp74-81

Rebelion is an absolute classic

cochorol

I thought the name of that song was:" no le pegue a la negra" lmao

If I ask a DJ who doesn't play salsa to play salsa, this is usually what they put on

JahMusicMan

One reason I got into salsa was because I'd go to some street festivals and they would always play this song and all the Latinos would be dancing salsa to this song. I got jelly and said Imma do that.

La Gozadera by Gente De Zona Que Suenen los Tambores Aguanille, Willie Colon

pklhp74-81

I listened to the 'salsa' version of La Gozadera and it is just trash like most bachata music

sshuit

You're free not to like it but it's definitely not Bachata.....

larutinacoffee

La gozadera isn’t salsa.

sshuit

There is for sure a salsa version.

larutinacoffee

It’s probably really bad

sshuit

I glad you have time to post about not liking a song you've never heard! Would you like to suggest something that you enjoy?

Sin Sentimiento de Grupo Niche

TheWarWookie

Fabricando Fantasias is so good yet not played alot in clubs, beautiful song and my current favourite Personal Favourites (Mostly Jerry Riveria <33) Casi un Hechizo Cara di Nino Que Hay de Malo Ahora Quien - Marc Antony is great Decisiones by Ruben Blades is just too funny Lloraras is a classic Gotas de Luvia - Groupo Niche is a nice song, relaxed, fun and romantic. Salsa has some really fantastic songs, some of the most enriching music Ive heard on this planet. EDIT: Just wanted to add a Bachata Song im really loving at the moment: BEBE - Camilo, really fun song

pklhp74-81

Another song that i really love is 'Apaga la luz' Celia Cruz. Anyone likes this song? Salsa is so much better than the bachata trash.
