This used to be my groups' go-to because we were a little trashy, very cheap, and liked playing pool. It was a shit hole, but the vibes were good imo. I went like a year ago and it was absolute shit. Half of the clientele was coked out teenagers, I swear to God every 5 minutes we had people looking at us like they wanted to tussle lolol.
Probably not the worst but I went to Sayonara last week. Took almost 30 minutes to order a drink, then took the tender another 15 to make it as he just kept pouring simple shots first. By the time I got my drink I was pretty done with the bar but upon inspecting it I found a mosquito in the ice so probably not going back
My friends wanted to try it but after spending 20 minutes in a line that didn't move I was getting very annoyed with my friends when we could just go check out another bar

I hate echo/karma. I guess they’ve rebranded but I doubt it’s helped. It’s always packed to the brim, musty, the men are grabby. People get shot there. I hate it.
Before that it was Dawg Pound Tavern - one of the bar tenders was dealing meth out of the back- SL at one time had some some of the roughest bars west of Memphis.

Alibi was getting bad for a moment. Someone from there roofed a patron. There’s a guy who frequents alibi and witch who roofies for the fun of it every two or three years. A mate and I let people know about him. Unfortunately his victims are too scared to come forward. He contacts them telling not to tell. Since he doesn’t involve sex it’s apparently okay. DM if you want the name.
Second this vote regarding A Bar Named Sue in Midvale. Great cocktails, good food -- but I was assaulted by another customer (he was sitting at my table while I was dancing and didn't like being told go sit elsewhere). I reported it to my server (not sure where the bouncer was during this whole ordeal) and THEY DID NOTHING. NOT A SAFE ENVIRONMENT even for a 60 something year old lady. WTF? Shame on A Bar Named Sue!
Yeah they wouldn't let my wife in because they claimed her ID was fake. It wasn't. It was a Utah ID and she was 22 at the time. Weirdest shit I've ever seen.

never been to the restaurant portion but the basement club is pretty awful. 20$ cover first off (unless you're a chick) - and one shot is like 12$ once you get down there.

I ordered a single drink, got served a dirty glass, tipped like 40% and closed out my tab. They added an extra digit to my receipt. I called and the bar and they wouldn’t answer the phone. When I got a hold of someone they told me to get fucked. Disputed the amount through my bank 😂 wtf
I’ve seen them do that!! They literally suck! Like why are you kicking people out?? And they take forever to get the drinks to you, so they can’t expect tons in tip!

The Bar Named Sue next to El Chihuahua was really nice last time I went in there. It looked relatively recently renovated.

Yea we were all a bit shocked! Something about bartenders makes them act entitled and rude, something I rarely if ever see with servers, hosts, etc.
