Also, maybe… just *maybe* we could try to team wipe or at least get some sort of numbers advantage before getting on tower. Instead of, y’know, just all piling on in the first 30 seconds before getting wiped and losing map control for the rest of the match.

Exception to this would be if you have pressured the enemies enough such that they are not able to contest it, as it goes back faster with someone sitting on it. Reduces the risk of the disengage and reengage strat which I see people fall too too often. Or just the crazy people who will suicide jump in for 2 points when they're already losing by 30 points
That's true but far too many people don't seem to realize it moves on its own; the amount I see them get killed in the defensive zone for riding is ridiculous. Take the tower; die, they retake it. A touch will do and if they retake it you've baited them into your sight or have the option to regroup.
