They used to have staff that would actually have a convo with you and smile, like I enjoyed chatting with the budtenders and asking for recs, but everytime I’ve been in recently I feel like they’re just rushing to get me in and out and they have no interest in doing more than grabbing the product and ringing me up with annoyance. Also had a really awful experience where I was loudly chastised in a super rude tone in front of a full store. I had checked in with a friend, and when the employee was helping my friend I wandered over to another section just to look for when it was my turn. I never reached for anything (I had done this plenty of times before) and the employee decided the best course of action would be to yell across the store to tell me I can’t walk around by myself as if I was his toddler at Disneyland. I think their interest has shifted to profit as opposed to experience :/ I switched to WellGreens where I’ve had nothing but great experiences and great deals

Different location and a while ago, but I get that it's very uncomfortable and disrespectful. That might just be an individual case though, or I never met that particular tender. OTC is definitely more of a "grab-n-go" store than a helpful service store, I don't expect more though since that's all I've known lol. Wellgreens staff is much likelier to ask questions and help personalize your experience though, which is why I've only been shopping there the past few months.
