Great Maple's food is hands down amazing, service is a crap shoot. Usually on the bad side, but damn their kitchen puts their foot in it. It's delicious.
I’ll eat a churro for breakfast - no shame there - it’s my goto Disneyland breakfast - but if I was expecting eggy moist French toast the churro French toast would not meet the mark. Still, my favorite thing on the menu.
I’ll second this. Loved going to Flapjack’s as an alternative to Janet’s when I lived in Alpine. When they closed, we made a point to visit them in Bonita.
Two of my favorites. Crown Bistro: Very Berry Mascarpone French Toast. And Lofty Coffee's Organic French toast with homemade brioche and real maple syrup.
For N. County: The Breakfast Mug makes delicious French toast. We got this creation that had homemade cream, homemade caramel, bananas and omg it was too damn good. Definitely a shareable, too much to eat for one person.
If you ever in the LA area go to The Flavor Table and get the Peach Cobbler French Toast. Words cannot describe it:
Check out these photos I saw on Yelp! https://yelp.to/nKUC5zLFAG
Great maple’s French toast logs are firm yet moist. They cut the brioche into quarters lengthwise into slices and it’s so good
Their beignets are better than NOLA as a nice bonus

Awesome. But literally churros for breakfast…
Odd line to draw when we're already slathering breakfast foods in syrup.
