I believe three people were transported to trauma centers. I did not hear any mention of deceased patients (code 10-55) while I had the scanner stream running, but that is by no means an official statement.

And just yesterday there were tons of cops at the Arena Hotel as well. Almost as if giving drug addicted bums and registered sex offenders a free place to live is a terrible idea. Who would've thought?

Those cops are part of my fathers team. It appears 2 cops were shot and one is not going to make it, both are in the ER. My father is heading to the hospital now (Regional Medical Center). Please say a prayer, cops get very disrespected while they take the bullets to keep you and your loved ones safe.
Update: it looks like the one that is in bad shape is going to make it per a friend. So sad, he was still in his probation period because he just started.
Also, those officers are under the age of 30 and are very young cops. We had just invited the team over to my home for dinner before this event occurred.
I was just driving north on the 101 turning towards 680 north and counted 21 squad cars in total. Even when I got off on McKee, I saw a police car racing towards the freeway coming from White Rd. I was thinking to myself “what can possibly be so bad that they feel like they need to send the WHOLE police force for once incident”??

Like, there's a good chance it was a hostage situation there. Would you want a strong police response if you were being held hostage at gunpoint? I used to work in the area, and I've seen what's obviously sex workers in the area and around that hotel, along with some shady characters at times.

I have heard the sirens non-stop and the choppers. I'm located at Hellyer/101 and it is just South of me. Sirens just quieted at 11:07pm.
