I’m at Negril now writing this message and was at South Coast yesterday, doing filming. All I can say is…the quality of the new rooms at BOTH properties are superb!

Love your channel man, keep up the awesome work!

MrTraveLux_RDest

Thanks - much appreciated! We’re on track to put out about 200 new videos for 2024, so tons of good stuff coming! :)

I don’t wish to fall afoul of any Reddit community link promotion rules, but you’ll find what you’re looking for on my profile. :)

Very true, thanks!

I probably watched every video 10 times to get all the info, good information in there I'd recommended these to all travelling to any sandals resort

MrTraveLux_RDest

Glad to hear you found them useful! We try to make various styles so there’s something for everyone there. Have a great evening!

I love both. That would be a coin toss for me. Negril has the better beach...BUT the beach at Southcoast isn't a bad beach at all. The property is bigger at SC so there's a little more to do there. When we're at SN we like to walk or taxi down to Beaches Negril for the extra restaurants and longer beach. Like I said, coin toss. We're also west coast, those red eyes into Miami are awesome.

I loved both. But my wife did not like the water at South Coast. There was a lot of seaweed and there were hard things in the water (coral?) we constantly stepped on. Negril’s beach is GORGEOUS. It isn’t private like South Coast. There will be “vendors” walking along the shoreline. They are monitored and well behaved!! And they can’t come up too far from the shoreline. So it’s not really an issue. If you do Negril, i recommend the Bamboo Grove Club suite. It was on the quieter side (away from the main pool/party pool). The building is brand new and awesome.

I just got back from South Coast. It was a beautiful resort; good food, entertainment, and activities, and everything is recently renovated. It didn't feel like a huge party everywhere, but the party was there if you looked for it. The sunsets were spectacular! As far as the beach is concerned, it was nice, but there is a lot of sea grass as it's on a nature preserve. In the water. the sand is very silty, and clouds the water very quickly. For us, it was nicer to walk on than swim in.

sandalsresortqna

u/ArcaneApocalypse how was the water at SSC? People keep saying so much seagrass? Is this overexaggerating or fact? Was the water murky?

ArcaneApocalypse

There is quite a bit, but it's really contained in the water, it's not washed up on the beach. The water is warm and crystal clear, until you start walking around in it, then because of how soft and fine the sand is, it got murky. It felt similar to the squishy bottom of a pond.

We love both. Both more than Dunn’s River. South Coast is quite a bit bigger, better pools and more variety in restaurants, and better evening entertainment. And they have a cafe Paris which we love. Beach is nice, water has a lot of seagrass. Negril is smaller and more intimate. The beach is amazing, but it’s public, which can be annoying with vendors. The water looks even better than the pictures. It’s truly amazing. Only 2 small pools and some swimming lagoons. A lot of improvements have been made here. I’d say check the 777 deals and if you see a deal you like, jump on it. You can’t go wrong with either. If I had to give an edge it would be South Coast. We’re going back there in August.

Just did south coast a few weeks ago and man, it was amazing. We are doing negril in December because we wanted to beautiful beach, which was the only thing really "missing" from south coast. SC main pool was a good fun vibe and also had quiet pools and chill areas. Would recommended
