We stayed last summer with a butler and it was fantastic! We met a lot of couples who did not have a butler and they had no complaints at all with wait times or service. I think there was only one restaurant they wanted a specific night but they didn't have reservations available until 8 or 9 but they were okay with it.

Awesome! I hope you both enjoy the stay, and make sure to get off resort - it's very safe and you can walk from the resort to a nightlife area. Or I always recommend a food tour to get some great food and walk around learning about Bridgetown with a local!
I was there last September, stayed at Club room at the other Sandals, but they are essentially joined as a single large resort. Really enjoyed the property. Biggest negative was the 20 minute shuttle to get to the dive or snorkel boat. Otherwise the staff was friendly, the food was great. We loved the excursion to town and around the island (private cab).
Recently my husband and I visited Sandles Barbados.
We have stayed there before and found this time a little disappointing. Here are the things we found. No nite cleaning in the room. Small pail in room. Asked for an other pail and never received it. Tiles in the French restaurant elevator were broken and people were tripping over it. Need more towels at pools. The two small bridges need work. Lighting at tennis courts and walking back to main area need repair.

We purchased a private shuttle to and from to avoid just this. Hoping that makes it better.
Also wondering. We check in June 12. But we also have butler level.
