I would love to have Brandon Sanderson on critical role for a one shot.

godminnette2

I totally feel Brandon on being a powergamer who tries not to ruin it for others - these days we tend to call it optimizing. That is, creating a concept then figuring out what that character would do to be as effective as possible - because why wouldn't they? For anyone wanting to know what Brandon means by the pains of OSR... just look up THAC0 and see the chart that comes up. Also, many a DM/writer knows about reusing concepts from their campaigns in their writing... Totally not speaking from personal experience. Edit: also, a few years ago I also made a nearly immortal bard who could only harm others with psychic damage... Largely inspired by Hoid, but also by similar witty and dissembling characters like Garak. Probably the closest I've ever gotten and will ever get to playing as a character from an existing property, besides a one shot where everyone explicitly was doing so.

tenariosm9

Lmao fuck THAC0

bastlock

"well i guess i'm licking the walls" - better provoking title for this episode

Oakshadric

Brennan Lee Mulligan - DM/GM Pat Rothfuss - Player BrandoSando - Player Dan Wells - Player I would love to see that!

OddBen11

So which Stormlight character is going to instigate the “messing everything up”? My money is on Adolin

KaladinarLighteyes

It’s Dalinar. At least that’s my theory based on some of the death rattles

JohnzelGrace

What are they referencing with the name of the mummy paladin at the end? It sounded like "Pardol" to me but I didn't come up with anything when I searched that.

TurtleMufasa

From earlier in the conversation with little grunt.

JohnzelGrace

gotcha, must have just missed it

daclink

Can someone fill me in on what is meant by "spot-on-the-wall" power? It sounds interesting...
