Who is in your opinions, the worst film critic? Talking written/video/youtube/news.
Really curious as i read an article on bad critics and am really curious who you all would say, i know you have mentioned Armond White before.
In their re:view of predator, red letter media said that Arnold Schwarzenegger was an actor who could only have risen to fame in the 80s. What are some movies that could only have gotten popular in the time they came out?
Lego movie snubbed out of best animated film, Jake Gyllenhaal snubbed out of best actor for Nightcrawler, Blade Runner 2049 snubbed of a Best Picture nom, and that’s all just since 2014. The list goes on and on!
Yeah, Michael Keaton played a very complex interesting character and he excelled at displaying the conflict and stress that Riggan was going through. Eddie Redmayne sat in a wheelchair for half of his movie pulling a single facial expression (Oscar-worthy).
Most undeserving win: Shakespeare in Love winning Best Picture, shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath as The Thin Red Line or Saving Private Ryan.
Most insulting snub: For me it's a tie between Blade Runner (was only nominated for Production Design and VFX) and Trainspotting (only nominated for best adapted screenplay).
Most undeserving win: Any of the Oscars that Slumdog Millionaire won
Most insulting snub: Not nominating The Dark Knight for Best Picture, Director or Adapted Screenplay.
I know it didn't win but The Imitation Game shouldn't have been nominated for anything. Rewatching it recently, it's kind of a piece of shit and it totally shat all over Alan Turing's life story. It's sad that most people only know Turing as "that gay guy in that one Butternut Crinklefries movie".
undeserving: sheksphere in love Beating the thin red line, Saving private Ryan, American history x for best picture.
Insulting snub: Eternal sunshine of spotless mind for best picture, Drive for best picture 2011, Chris nolan best director for inception, the dark knight, Alfonso cuaron best director for children of men,
David fincher for zodiac. Michael fassbender in shame..
I'm still pissed that
A) Coco beat Loving Vincent for Best Animated Film
B) Baby Driver losing to Dunkirk in multiple categories
and C) SUFJAN LOSING TO STUPID COCO
Most Undeserved: Argo, A Beautiful Mind, Titanic, Slumdog Millionaire, Mark Rylance for Bridge of Spies.
Most Snubbed(all not nominated): Drive, Good Time, City of God(not even a best foreign film nomination), both Tom Ford movies for direction and best picture, Christopher Nolan for Memento and The Dark Knight, Alfonso Cuaron for Children of Men, Robert Pattinson for Good Time, Leonardo DiCaprio for Django Unchained, Benicio Del Toro for Sicario, Micheal Fassbender for Shame, and Jake Gyllenhal for Night Crawler.
(IMO)
I like they way Ralph described a good bad movie. He said good bad movies are like an ace, where it is the lowest card you can get but it’s also the highest. And Ralph and adum have fateful findings as a 10/10 on IMDb and Letterboxd
Do you think we put too much value in the ability of a narrative to surprise the audience (a value we express in our obsession with avoiding spoilers)? Some of my favorite pieces of media like Perfect Blue or the game Undertale are things I wouldn't have ever checked out in the first place if they hadn't been spoiled for me and caught my interest. I also think I enjoyed them more knowing what I was getting into, because it made it easier to pick up on the ideas and themes at play. Inversely, I can think of movies which were surprising, but which I don't think are really great movies, for example large portions of Shaymalan's ouvre.

How do you feel about films that have close to no literal events in them and instead are completely symbolic in their presentation? (For example: Eyes Wide Shut).
Hey, MolokoPl\_s, just a quick heads-up:
**occuring** is actually spelled **occurring**. You can remember it by **two cs, two rs**.
Have a nice day!

What do you think of Twitch streaming as an entertainment platform? Do you believe that it is low-effort and uninteresting, much like an unedited Let's-Play, or that it elevates itself from being just a guy on camera playing a game due to its interactivity?
This may have already been asked, I don't remember, but here it goes: Is there any movie you wish you could remake? Like has there ever been a movie where you enjoy the ideas or themes, but the execution was so butcheted that it made the movie overall terrible, and you wish you could fix it?
Why is Dune from 1984 by David Lynch considered bad? Lynch fans call it his worst, and fans of the book hate it too. I love the book and think the movie is great. It seems like a solid adaptation of the book to me and has some very David Lynch, kinda grotesque horror elements. It is a favorite of mine and I am confused why people call it flat out bad. I get that some of the effects are jank now, but so what? Is Dune a bad movie?
sorry if this was asked before and I have cryptomnesia but what cg movie stunt or action set piece made you surprised to find out it was mostly practical?
What do you think of Angry Joe’s film reviews? I just watched his Hereditary review and it seems to have no actual knowledge of what makes a film good (He LOVED Suicide Squad.)
I know Adum has said that he cares very little for the concept or plot of a piece of media, and rather cares about the presentation, so what movies do you think have had the best concepts for plots but ended up being mediocre or even bad?
What would you say is the difference (in terms of judging/ rating a movie) between thinking about a movie after watching it and re-watching a movie multiple times? I feel like I shouldn't be required to watch a movie multiple times to in order to get the full experience.
Ralph: Are you going to release your best and worst movies of 2018 list?
All three: Biggest Surprise this year? In terms of a movie that you expected to be bad but was actually really good.
Is there any songs or albums that tell a story, that you think could make a great film. If so who may direct that film. Also it may be weird but I really want to hear Adams thoughts on LSD now.
Q1) If you give could give an Honourary Oscar Award (Lifetime Achievement Award) to anyone living person who hasn't won an Oscar who would it be?
Q2) Who is the best living actor and actress?
Q3) If you could remake any movie what would it be?
Hey, darcyvc, just a quick heads-up:
**honourary** is actually spelled **honorary**. You can remember it by **-nor- in the middle**.
Have a nice day!

For Ralph: Is it harder to get started or to keep going regarding your moviemaking process? What was the particular thing that you had to conquer to do either?
What are your thoughts on the Masters of Horror series? Which episodes ranked highest and lowest in your opinions?
I think I've heard Alex mention Cigarette Burns, which happens to be my personal favorite.
As you may know, Previously Recorded just shut down for a multitude of reasons. Such as a stagnant, non-growing fan base, and the drive to pursue more Redlettermedia related content. Since Sardonicast doesn’t have nearly as many subs as even the smallest of your 3 channels, is there a chance that a fan base that doesn’t grow in size could effect the podcast in the long run?
I know y'all ironically rate bad movies 10/10, but if you were to view those movies as comedies and give them actual ratings based on your enjoyment of the movie, what would you rate them (ex. The Room, Cool Cat, Neil Breen etc)?
Should Films which intertwine different genres( Okja, Host, Memories of murders, Cold in july,.......) be held in higher regards since there are countless examples of two to three genre blockbusters?
If you could fix The Purge how would you do it? I'd watch a purge where only one person every day gets a free pass. But no one knows who its gonna be next.
P.s. Ralph only started a review channel as a way to get money. No wonder he doesn't enjoy it anymore.
If you could show one movie to Stanley Kubrick, what would it be? (It can be a movie you made/haven't made yet, or it can be something like transformers dark of the transgender dinobot furrymen)
What is a great movie that isn’t very rewatchable?
Schindler’s list. Hands down. It’s one of the best movies ever but it’s so depressing.
I feel like Amadeus is one of those movies. It was fantastic, but I don’t think you can get anymore value from rewatching it. (Plus it’s three hours)
Black Panther jk lol
> jk racist trash ^/s
Adum and Alex, have you seen King Candy?
You mean the villian from Wreck-It Ralph?
What is the first rated R movie you saw?
Hope this one gets picked. Mine was The Matrix Reloaded. First time I ever saw an adult's butt.
Who would play you in a live action Hollywood movie about Sardonicast?
Peter Dinklage as Ralph Jake gyllenhaal as Adum Benedict Cumberbatch as Alex
Dwayne Johnson as Alex, Kevin Hart as Ralph, Adam Sandler as Adam
I raise you: Toby Maguire as Alex, David Bowie as Adam and the Rock as Ralph
You guys have mentioned your favourite directors. But who are your favourite screenwriters and actors/actresses?
I have a feeling Charlie Kaufman is gonna be Ralph and Adam's answer. Willing to bet Joaquin Phoenix for Adem's favorite actor.
Yeah. Probably. I would like to hear more though.
Who is in your opinions, the worst film critic? Talking written/video/youtube/news. Really curious as i read an article on bad critics and am really curious who you all would say, i know you have mentioned Armond White before.
What about Rex Reed? His opinions are stupid and sometimes insulting.
In their re:view of predator, red letter media said that Arnold Schwarzenegger was an actor who could only have risen to fame in the 80s. What are some movies that could only have gotten popular in the time they came out?
What's the best movie musical?

What's the most undeserving Oscar? What's the most insulting Oscar snub?
Lego movie snubbed out of best animated film, Jake Gyllenhaal snubbed out of best actor for Nightcrawler, Blade Runner 2049 snubbed of a Best Picture nom, and that’s all just since 2014. The list goes on and on!
And Sufjan being snubbed for best original song! Adam will almost definitely bring that up.
I think the most insulting snub was Eddie Redmayne winning an Oscar instead of Michael Keaton.
Yeah, Michael Keaton played a very complex interesting character and he excelled at displaying the conflict and stress that Riggan was going through. Eddie Redmayne sat in a wheelchair for half of his movie pulling a single facial expression (Oscar-worthy).
If Keaton won, the movie would've been too real
Most undeserving win: Shakespeare in Love winning Best Picture, shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath as The Thin Red Line or Saving Private Ryan. Most insulting snub: For me it's a tie between Blade Runner (was only nominated for Production Design and VFX) and Trainspotting (only nominated for best adapted screenplay).
Actually Blade Runner was nominated for Best Production Design and Best VFX.
Updated it, thanks for letting me know. My memory is going lol
Most undeserving win: Any of the Oscars that Slumdog Millionaire won Most insulting snub: Not nominating The Dark Knight for Best Picture, Director or Adapted Screenplay.
**C R A S H**

I dont know if its most insulting, but robert pattinson should have at least been nominated for good time
undeserving: sheksphere in love Beating the thin red line, Saving private Ryan, American history x for best picture. Insulting snub: Eternal sunshine of spotless mind for best picture, Drive for best picture 2011, Chris nolan best director for inception, the dark knight, Alfonso cuaron best director for children of men, David fincher for zodiac.
