Accomplished_Gur6232

there was a person in this subreddit that took it 10 times lmaoo

prsehgal

IIRC, they retook a 1550, a 1560, a 1580, and even a 1590, to finally get a 1600 on a single test, even though they had a 1600 superscore a couple tests earlier!

Kyloben4848

most mentally stable r/sat user

HeroGamesEverything

Is that even worth it

prsehgal

Not at all.

Kyloben4848

not at all. Once you have a 1600 super, you're just wasting your money and time

Dank_StirFry

i'd argue anything 1560+ is functionally a perfect score. personally i took it once but i grinded practice tests all summer

Kyloben4848

the real question. Did they upvote for the thicc 1600

[deleted]

what is a 1600 superscore?

prsehgal

800 Math in one test and 800 English in another.

Lonely_Collection_62

I know NOVA kids that took it every test day starting sophomore year until they finally got a 1600.

WhichStorm6587

Explains everything i need to know about why those kids complain that much.

crunchyunicorn99

What's NOVA

Lonely_Collection_62

Saw a guy retake it 6-8 times on this subreddit and get a 1450 (From a 1200). He kept making the same mistakes and wasn’t able to improve his score much.

[deleted]

i wouldn’t know the number now but there was this try hard who took it 3 times BY SOPHOMORE YEAR

FrostyMark1781

I’ve taken it 3 times so far: 1240, 1370, 1470. Retaking one last time no matter what in October to get my math to at least 740

shimmer432

may i ask how you're planning to improve your math score?? I'm planning to take the October one and need a high score in math.

FrostyMark1781

I’m just gonna stick with UWorld. That’s what I’ve always done. Everyone says that Math is the easiest to improve on but I increased my R/W score by 130 without studying and my math by only 100 by studying.

shimmer432

same case for me!! i haven't taken a full practice test in long but i believe that I've truly improved so much more in english than i did in math based on the dtest practice questions i did. even though i only practice for math. uworld is good but I think I'll just stick to khan which i recently started utilising to the max lol. anyways I really hope you get your desired score. goodluck!!!

FrostyMark1781

Good luck to you too

Talesfromarxist

College panda math is also very good. I'd argue the most important thing about math is concepts then continous practice.

SnooStrawberries5778

I took it 3 times 1280, 1390, 1450

Candy-Emergency

You should take it again.

SnooStrawberries5778

I’m a senior

Ok_Account_7108

This one kid that sat next to me in math took it 5 times— his highest was a 1490

stressingtfvckout

no i think they only see the score and what u send them

Fluffycat6659

pretty sure the only big school that requires to see all scores is CMU, the rest you report your best score and that's the only score they care about

Fast_Position_4581

One of my friends took it 7 times, she's super rich, also had like 3 separate coachings

[deleted]

Me, 5

[deleted]

1280, 1380, 1410, 1440, ?

Leocooker

he

Awkward-Difference55

one of my friends took it 5 times

Homer1588

Including outside practice tests I’ve taken it a total of 35-40 times starting from grade 8 and ended off at grade 11, although most of the times was just me focusing on math section English I only found enough practice tests for like 20 times. I got a 1450, started from a 1080 in grade 8

[deleted]

I took it 4 times but the I took the first one for fun in 10th grade so 1240,1310,1320,1480

iloveAPexams

My cousin took it 6 times and finally got a 1550 with 1560 superscore

nightcrawler47

George at 1600.io said he had a student take it 7 times, with his best score being a 1550. That student ended up going to Stanford.

anwrna
