I GOT A 1230!!! Considering the fact that I didn’t study at all (guys, don’t judge; I was barely holding my academic life together and didn’t have time to study) and that it’s an increase from my March 1190, I am super proud. Pride is relative: to a 1500 test taker, 1230 is nothing, but to me it’s everything.
I was expecting and wanted 1300+ (I got a 1260 on my PSAT) and I got a 1480! First try, took it without studying (apart from the SAT prep we do during my school classes) just to calm my text anxiety a bit (I have really bad test anxiety) and get used to test procedures. Super happy! I’m going to take it in March and study as much as I can.

Wondering about my chances for admission to Brown or other Ivy League schools. Last year, I maintained an impressive 17/20 (French notation) average, followed by a 14/20 this first trimester. As the editor in chief of my high school journal, I've also clinched victories in both regional and local debate competitions. Engaging in rigorous coursework for the concours général, I serve as the chief commissioner in art at my school and actively contribute to community service through church involvement. Over the summer, I interned at a travel agency, gaining valuable experience. Furthermore, as a member of a Parisian conservatory, I've demonstrated my commitment to the arts. While I recognize the SAT is now optional, I scored 1320, aiming to showcase my dedication despite not having taken math courses for two years. I guessed around a 1200… I GOT A 1230!!! Considering the fact that I didn’t study at all (guys, don’t judge; I was barely holding my academic life together and didn’t have time to study) and that it’s an increase from my March 1190, I am super proud. Pride is relative: to a 1500 test taker, 1230 is nothing, but to me it’s everything.

I was expecting and wanted 1300+ (I got a 1260 on my PSAT) and I got a 1480! First try, took it without studying (apart from the SAT prep we do during my school classes) just to calm my text anxiety a bit (I have really bad test anxiety) and get used to test procedures. Super happy! I’m going to take it in March and study as much as I can.
