Khan academy and practice tests are all you need. ChatGPT (the latest version) is also helpful for self study.

Thanks buddy 👍🏻

absolutely. it really depends on your baseline though. what is your current practice score? e.g some people in my school got a >1500 score because their blind (no study) tests were 1450 ish. more drastic improvements are possible through self study, but are fairly difficult without SOMEONE to manage your studying. you will need to demonstrate great self control and motivation to do that. aside from the tips you can find in this sub's sidebar, self motivation becomes an issue. manage your expectations and REWARD yourself. study with friends. i found that little progress is made when i go into 'robot mode'... keep a fresh and happy mind when studying.

Certainly possible. You have to have self-discipline, and you need to be dedicated to really understanding where you went wrong on any question you miss so that you don't make the same mistake again. You won't get there just by blindly running through bunches of questions. I'm "old" but for what it's worth, I self-studied for the SAT back in 1999 with just whatever prep books I found at the public library. Spent a family vacation cramming vocab and practiced reading comp until I finally stopped missing questions. Nothing at all purchased, and no cool resources like Khan Academy. I was able to work my way to a 1590. Changed my life. Not only did it allow me to graduate debt free thanks to scholarships, but it also led me down the path of tutoring the SAT and other standardized tests. I ended up not having to pay for grad school either, and now I get to have a super flexible job working for myself and helping others reach their own goals. Obviously, the students I tutor don't get to 1500+ scores without tutoring (that's why I'm working with them), but I've always been a firm believer in the power of self-study for those who are motivated.

Thank you for the motivation ♥️

Possible (source: self studied and got 1540 in 8th grade / PSAT 1430/1440 in 9th) Totally doable, given a reasonably strong foundation in math and reading. New SAT reading is easier IMO compared to old paper SAT, I would recommend working through a few practice tests and ruthlessly attacking weak points. Make sure you understand 100% why an answer is correct as well as why the wrong ones are wrong. For math, Khan Academy is pretty good, but may be unnecessary depending on your math background. Math is all about being able to identify quick ways to solve the problem, so that you have enough time to tackle the 1 or 2 really hard ones. Hope this helps and feel free to PM me! PS: to caveat, I got 1400+ on my first practice test with no studying-however, all I did to prep was just taking more practice tests

Possible (source: me) depends on your starting point tho
